Wowie!! All you Walgreens shoppers may be excited… especially if you still have kiddos in training pants, sleep pants and/or diapers! You see, the Walgreens brand Well Beginnings Jumbo Pack Diapers, Training or Sleep Pants deal that I mentioned in the weekly deals and in this post here is even sweeter than I thought! Check out the comments and emails from readers…

I was just at 3 walgreens in Oklahoma and the Well Beginnings diapers that were advertised at 2/$12 are ringing up 2/$9!! (One is $6 and one is $3). Plus, you still get the 2,000 points for buying sets of 2!. And, the 5,000 booster will work on a $25 or more as well.

The Walgreens diapers rang up BOGO half off! So I got 4 for $18, plus 4000 points so $3.50 per pack! It would be even sweeter if you did spend the $25 to get the booster, but I didn’t want to spend more.

Diapers were bogo half off for me as well! I was afraid I wouldn’t get the points since it didn’t total to the advertised price but after paying and going through my receipt, bam! There they were!!! One happy mama here 🙂

If you find the same unadvertised deal at your store (and be sure to price check if these aren’t marked), check out the *HOT* buys you can score on Well Beginnings Jumbo Pack Diapers, Training and/or Sleep Pants…

  1. Catie

In the 2nd scenario wouldn’t you get 6000 points for buying 6 packs? So that would bring your cost down to about 2.67 per pack…

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

YES – thanks for catching that. Updating now! 🙂

  2. Dee

Hopefully this isn’t a glitch and I can take advantage of this deal! We’re out celebrating my oldest son’s 4th birthday. Don’t think he’ll be too happy if I told him that we need to pause the activities so Mama can coupon, lol.

  3. Keri

Wow!! That’s awesome. I will be going out soon to get mine. Hope they are ringing up at 2/$9!! We mainly use cloth diapers, but when I use disposables, it’s always Walgreens brand

  4. visitor3

I tried Walgreens store brand diapers 2 years ago and they were the very worst of everything I tried. Any information if the design has changed???

    • Sheila

We love them, from what I’ve heard they are made under Kimberly Clark (Huggies). Aside from that, they are the most leak proof diaper I’ve found & awesome sale prices!!

      • Mia

yes no leaks at all…and awesome price too 🙂

    • Keri

We also really like them. We use cloth most of the time, but have used Walgreens disposables for over a year now. I e never had any issues at all. He even wears them at night (12 hrs w no leaks- we do size up at night)

    • Jen

We love them too! Probably about 80% of the diapers with my first daughter have been/are Walgreens. I am now stocking up for our new baby. I always take advantage of these sales to stock up. I just wish my stores stocked more and/or you could purchase more than the 2 or 3 per size online. If that was the case, we would probably be 100% Walgreens brand. Based on other diaper deals at various stores, this one seem to give you the best bang for the buck in sizes n-2 (at least for me it does).

    • nancy

They have been wonderful for us. Comparable to targets brand, pampers or Huggies.

    • Vivienne

They work great for me…I mean they work great for my little girl. 🙂

  5. Emily

Can this be done more then once? Mor is the 5000 for spending 25 a one time thing?

  6. Val

OMG, this blog has THE BEST readers on the net!! Thanks to all who “discovered” this amazing deal!

    • Jen

HAHA! Thanks. I am the Oklahoma emailer. We love these diapers. With 1 in diapers and 1 on the way, I stalk Walgreens for their BOGO Free week. This week, I figured the extra points made for a great deal, so when I found this out I just had to make sure word got out lol!

  7. Beth

Got this deal when I went in today. A pleasant surprise.

  8. Gretch

Can I roll the register rewards over to buy more diapers?

    • Jennifer

I am pretty certain you can use Register Rewards on these transactions, but NOT the reward points. You can’t use points on a transaction that earns points.

      • Jennifer

… well you can use points, but you won’t earn the advertised points.

  9. Taya

can you do this deal online and still get them for 2.67 a package?!!

  10. Sheila

Just tested it out in Denver,CO. Worked like a charm, what a deal!! Thanks so much for posting! Unadvertised BOGO1/2 is good til 8/30, tagged under this weeks shelf tag at my store.

  11. Maria

How do you get to use the points??

  12. Krista

Love the Walgreens diapers! The most recent pack I opened even has the little yello line that turns blue when wet.

  13. mandy

Worked for me. 6 packs for $27 plus tax and got 11,000 points.

    • Hollie

Do you know if you can use the points right away on more diapers?

      • Maureen

You can’t roll balance rewards points. If you used them to buy more diapers you won’t earn points on the second purchase.

        • Hollie

          Thanks!

  14. Mama

Super sweet deal! These diapers are GREAT! They are a little larger than Huggies brand fyi. Great protection! Never had a leak

  15. Taya

Do the points ever expire? I’m new to shopping at Walgreens just got one in my town.

  16. Milly

    Anyone tried ordering this online?

    • Wren

You can add the points booster coupon to your card online, but I just chatted and they are having ‘tech. difficulties’ with their clipless coupons and suggested I try back tonight or tomorrow :-/

    • Mama

The price online was same as last week $9.49 bogo50%. Plus the 5000 point booster is in store only

    • Wren

Plus the jumbo packs are $9.49 ea, B1G1 50% off….

  17. Taya

Anyone know if you can only do the deal scenario 1 time?

    • Shelly

You can do it multiple times, but different transactions to get all the points.

      • Taya

        thanks!

  18. Marlene

Can we use the rewards points right away..for example 6 packs for $27 get $11.00 back in rewards and then use the $11 in rewards to get another 2 packs? I know i wont get any points on the other 2 packs but i dont shop at walgreens much so i want to use them right away

    • Kamaya

      Yes you can.

  19. Ashley

I totally did this deal after seating this and got 11000 points!!!! It came to 29.39 with tax !!!!

  20. Marie Frattallone Snedeker

Where can the points booster be found?

    • JS

I got mine in an email.

    • Kristen

In the ad. I forgot mine so just grabbed on off the rack when I walked in.

  21. crissy

They have the point booster coupon in the store on the front page of the flyer. I just did the diaper deal in Texas so it was tax-free as well as a great deal! Woot woot!

  22. Michelle

I just tried this in Nashville Tennessee and it did not work I got 6000 points but did not get the 5000. She scanned the points booster before she scanned the five back on 25 and the latter one would not take. Sure enough when my receipt printed out only 6000 came off. She encouraged me to call the 800 number and have the them add the 5000 points on to my card. Anybody else have this happen?

    • Kaylene

I haven’t tried this deal yet but I have had times in the past where i had forgotten to even scan the booster coupon and I contacted them and they gave me the points anyways. They have really good customer service

    • Michelle W.

ok I just called and they did add the points to my account. (see above) And the lady on the phone told me something strange she said that the cashier should have scanned the 5000 point coupon first BEFORE ringing in any of the purchases. I had never heard of that and I know that the cashier hadn’t either. strange!

      • jenn

Mine scanned the coupon at the end and it worked fine.

    • Taya

I just had that happen but the lady canceled my order and did it again to scan the 5000 points on to it.

    • Barbie

I had this problem as well…no 5000 points even though I gave them the coupon and had also tried loading it on my card. When I called customer service, they refused to apply the points even though they could see that I had spent $25. Unfortunately, I will be returning my entire purchase tomorrow. So disappointing.

  23. Keri

This deal worked in Orlando! Bought 6 packs for $28 and got 11,000 points. Happy momma 🙂

    • lindalove87

I’m in Orlando too! Thanks! 😉

  24. Ashley

Does anyone know if you can by gift cards with the points??

  25. Michelle

WooHoo! Just did this 2 times and got the points for both transactions. LOVE good quality inexpensive diapers. It ended up being less than $0.11 per size 5 diaper. My kids are not even in diapers any more, but I was given $600 by my church to purchase diapers for a family in need. It’s been 6 months and I haven’t even used half the money 🙂 Saving money is so much fun – even when it’s not technically yours!

    • Wren

Wow that’s great! It is good that your church gave the money to someone who can stretch it so far! 🙂

  26. Taya

Yippee!!!! Just went and did this! I was hoping to get 4 sz 1 but they didnt have very many on the shelves and i didn’t bother to ask lol got 11000 points! and was $27 total such a good deal!!! Now can I go back and use my 11000 to get 2 more bags of diapers that totals $12 would I still get 2000 points for buying 2? The point thing still confuses me a little

    • Tiffany

No. You don’t get points when you use points.

      • Taya

        ok thanks

  27. Marlene

How long do your points last i shopped at. Walgreens months ago and had some points but never used them ?

    • jac

I think that as long as you have some activity on your account within the previous 6 months, your points should be safe.

      • Marlene

        Thx

  28. Tracy

Mine in DC does not have buy one get 1 50%. I paid 38 for 6, plus 11000 points. Any ideas?

    • Maureen

Maybe you pulled one package that was the wrong size or brand? Even without the 50% it would have been $36 unless you meant $38 with tax?

  29. Teetee20055

Has anyone tried the pull ups? I would run out if the pulls up are working this way too. I see anyone’s getting diapers.

    • Marcheta

I have. I used them for the longest time before I discovered the bigger packs at Toys R Us. I find that I liked these better than the name brand Pull-Ups.

    • Yan

Yes this deal works with training pants

    • Michelle

I din’t try the regular pullups, but it worked for diapers and the big kid sleep pants, so I would think that it would work for pull ups too.

    • Katrina

I did this deal with training pants and it worked perfectly!

    • deedee

My little sister just did it with the pull up. Also, her FSA (flexible spending account) covered the cost!

  30. karen

    Does this work online???

  31. Teetee20055

Thank you if I get a chance I’ll run out. If my total is over $25 will I still get the bonus points if I used rr to help lower my oop?

    • jac

Yes, the $25 is before manufacturer coupons, including RR.

  32. moba

Yayyyy I also have a 3 off 2 coupon, for the diapers, I hope my store would be stocked

    • Jackie

Did your coupon work? Mine wouldn’t scan at the register

      • moba

Sorry I have just seen ur reply, actually mine didn’t scan either, but thanks god they did honor it

  33. Teetee20055

Great thank you Collin and everyone who answer my questions. Hope the deal works in LA.

  34. Kristen

Thanks for the great deal! I even snagged a few packages of newborn ones on clearance that rang up B1G1 50%!!! Got some pull-ups for my son and stocked up on diapers for the new little one.

  35. Jenny

Worked like a charm in Wichita, KS! Did it twice! Thank you!!

  36. Maureen

Just worked great in DFW Texas. Thanks so much! I might even try again tomorrow in another store for more. Such a great deal!

    • Marcheta

Yay! I will be checking out my store in Arlington tomorrow!

  37. Diana Diana

has anyone’s baby had an allergic reaction to these?

    • Kristen

We have not. We use cloth mostly, but these are my favorite diaper for when we are traveling and use disposables.

    • Mia

my little one is very sensitive but these diapers are great, no rush, no leaks. HTH

      • Diana Diana

nice! thanks! I was just wondering because Im buying it as a gift so just wanted to get an idea on whether it might be a problem..hopefully its not

  38. Linda C

Does anyone know how the sizes for these diapers run? My LO can fit size 3 in Target brand but fits in size 4 for Huggies little movers slip one…

    • jenn

I feel like they run a tad on the large size. When my daughter was born she was still in newborn with these and size 1 in other brands.

    • Lyndi Hedgecock

I would go with the size 4. These are made similar to Huggies. 🙂

  39. deedee

Make sure you use your Walgreen’s prescription savings club card too if you have one (and you really should consider getting one if you buy $20 or more of Walgreen’s brands a year). My little sister and I just did this and we got the BOGO1/2 off, 11000 points, plus $2.70 added to our prescription card for each transaction we did with the 6 packs on it. My sister had the most fun because she got pull ups which are covered by her FSA account.

  40. tammy

I did my Walgreens trip a little bite differently

  41. Kristin

Can I use points from filling Rx in the past when I pay for the diaper deal? Will it give me all the points?

  42. Jenny

Do you have to spend $25 before or after coupons to get the 5k bonus points?

  43. Emily

I’m confused if I did the deal right. I purchased the 6 packs of diapers for a total of $36, and also purchased $13 worth of miscellaneous products I needed. I used the $5 off a $25 purchase coupon as well. My subtotal for all of these products (before tax) was $57.

Nothing printed out for me to use on a future purchase and my subtotal seemed so high? Here;s what it said at the bottom of the receipt:

    Rewards bonus earned- 500
    Rewards bonus earned- 6000
    Rewards bonus earned- 2000
    Rewards bonus earned- 5000

    Balance rewards savings $20.59
    Store advertised savings $14.50

    Point Balance 17800
    Opening balance 4300
    Earned this visit 13500
    Closing balance 17800
    Points to next reward 200

…So, anyone have any idea what happened? I purchased these in Central Alabama at 1pm CST 8/12.

  44. Tarah

Emily I did this deal yesterday and when I tried to repeat today it didn’t work and rang up like yours did.

    • Emily

Thanks for letting me know Tarah! I’m assuming they unadvertised deal. I’ll be sure to return the diapers…oh well!:)

      • Emily

I think they canceled the unadvertised deal is what I meant to type.
