Aldi’s TP is still a better deal. It’s 2 ply, more sheets per roll and cheaper.
Aldi’s is regional though, many of us don’t have one nearby.

What’s everyone’s personal price point for toilet paper and paper towels? Just curious 🙂
For TOILET PAPER, I think of the dollar store–if I can get 4 rolls for LESS than $1, I figure it’s a great deal. I usually can’t find that deal though :), so my next “goal” for TOILET PAPER is 12 rolls for $5, or 42 cents a roll, which is what I usually pay.
For PAPER TOWELS, I NEVER PAY $1 per roll–on a good day, I’ll pay 50 cents/roll.
…but I’m not a super couponer :)…what do you pay :)?
When I price paper towels or toilet paper I take the price of the item and divide it by the square “footage” (right on the front of the package) to get the price per sq ft. This is the only true way to know if you have a good deal because the size of rolls vary greatly between packages!

When I click the link it doesn’t show “double roll”–it says 1-ply. That’s not the same thing right? The photo shows it’s equal to 40 rolls, but that’s not true for 1-ply, right?

I don’t have a Staples card, and I signed up for the Rewards program for free just for this deal. I think when you sign up, they give you a reward number and THAT may be the number you need…maybe try again.
If you click the “Staples Rewards Member” link above, it will take you to the “Terms” page. From there, click on “Rewards Home” on the left. Then, you want to click on the “SIGN UP NOW” (maybe you got confused by the “Create Account” option–what you want is to “Sign up for Staples Rewards.”) Good Luck.
One more thing :)…the top of the form asks for a rewards number, but just leave it blank–it doesn’t apply to you.
