I just reserved online & it said pickup was by 9pm Nov 1st. Does that mean I could pick it up tomorrow & it’s not due back until Sunday? Or even if I picked up tomorrow it would be due back tomorrow by 9? I’m picking this one up today but have seen that before & wondered.
i am pretty sure it is the later…that deadline means redbox will release dvd for others to rent if you dont pick up before your one-day rental period ends (and will still charge you), so that is nov 1 at 9pm. online rentals start the day you reserve online.
I dont think so, check the special note at the bottom of the email: Your rental period began as soon as you completed your reservation. You’ll be charged for today’s rental whether your pick up your disc or not. If you don’t pick it up, we’ll release it tomorrow so others can rent it.
The redbox will hold your pick-up until Nov1 9pm, but you’ll be charged for the day it’s sitting in the redbox. So pick it up today,unless you don’t mind paying the extra $1 .
CJ–If you wait to pickup until Nov 1..you still must return by by 9pm
Nov 1. You don’t get an extra day because you waited a day to pickup!
If you pick it up today (31st) you have to return by 9pm Nov 1
If you pickup Nov 1 (tomorrow) you still have to return by 9pm Nov 1.
If you use this free code you won’t be charged until after 9pm Nov. 1
You may see a temp. $1. on your CC but that will go away in a few days!
The time that you reserve is the time your rental starts if you pick up. If you do not return by the same time next day you will be charged 2 day rental. I found this out the hard way.

You definitely have to return movie by 9pm tomorrow. I made the mistake of thinking that if I didn’t pick up DVD until the next day I had that additional day to return it. Not so, and I ended up paying for 2 nights instead of 1.
Looks like you can use the code multiple times (at least twice for me)
Im just curious if anyone knows if you can use this code more than once, the last free code I was able to use 4 different times in the same day as long I checked out each time instead of in one transaction…???
Never tried that but it works multiple times with a different credit card.

This worked for an online reservation but when using at CUB / MN

A fellow Chicagoan here! My two boys and I only lasted an hour outside with these temperatures! They got plenty of candy and are happy 😃
There’s also those of us with grown kids who stay home to wait for those trick or treaters to ring the doorbell 🙂
We will be trick or treating like you, Patty, but since we don’t have to turn it in until 9pm tomorrow, that gives us all of the next day into early evening to watch 🙂

I noticed, after signing up for the Redbox Play Pass, that if you use these free codes on a Blu-Ray disc, you pay the $0.33 (tax included) and you get the 10pts! I only pick up the Blu-Ray if its an action movie that the hubbie wants to see, but getting the points makes it worth the extra $0.33.

The code did not work when I went to the redbox and put the code in there. So, I logged into redbox on my phone, and reserved the movie online and entered the code into my phone – worked like a charm!
