I got the email, but my offer was for $12 in surprise points!
Mine came around 8:30 a.m. ET and the surprise points can be used on anything in-store or online.

Can you use the points for a $10 purchase in store or do you have to spend more, never used this program with points yet.
If there are no exclusions you can buy any thing free upto $10. If it says you have to spend xx amount then you have to to make purchase of xx amount to get $10 off. Read the surprise points details in your account.

I received $10 but off of a $35 purchase.
Mine was for $5 off a $50 purchase at Sears.
Is anyone else having trouble with their surprise points? I got $20 the other day, and was in the store Tuesday to use it. My app also showed two $10 surprise points. The $20 worked but the other two would NOT come off at checkout. The store called the rewards program for me and they issued $20 and it worked then. But today I got the email for $10 and tried using it and they will NOT come off at checkout even though they show in my app!
Some of the surprise points are limited to online-only purchases. The ones you saw in your app may have been coded that way and hat’s why you couldn’t use them in store. If you remember all the free points from viewing the local ad, those could only be used online and wouldn’t show up in store.
hmm, thanks. The only restrictions listed on the points are no grocery or pharmacy, etc. No purchase price required, no limits on clearance, etc. And I was trying to use the current ones online…I emailed, we will see what they say!

Me neither. Sounds like some people are having trouble using the points they get so maybe it’s a blessing in disguise.

A lot of these promos are sent to those that have personal shoppers – in fact soon (no specific date given) they should be giving everyone with a personal shopper $5 in free points (They do it monthly lately) – I am a personal shopper if you would like to follow me – its free & confidential!
Curious, what would I use a personal shopper for? Would you make purchases for me or what? And why would people that use a personal shopper get more promos than someone that didn’t use one? Just wondering.
I never get any of these awesome free points either. I get free points to use when I spend so much, but never just free points with no minimum to spend. Maybe I don’t spend enough money on purchases.

That’s not true. I just made 2 purchases within the past week both times redeeming points when I check out & earn points for both of them.
I know I don’t earn when I don’t pay anything OOP – like I just bought 2 pairs of toddler pants for $10 and it first said I would earn 100 points. But once I ‘paid’ with $10 points and no cash I did NOT earn anything. I’ve not tried to do any special point earning things while redeeming so I’m not sure.

Me too 🙁 .. Considering there are frequently much better coupons where you get higher points at lower price points, I think it’s quite insulting to offer a measly $5 in points for the whopping $100 you have to spend smh.
If you need any TV mounts it looks like all the Alphaline brand TV wall mount kits are on sale and giving you back 50% of the price in points!

I didn’t get an email regarding surprise points but when I was checking out ( got the dual charger and shovel) I had 5.00 in surprise points and I used the 5.00 gift card I won. Paid 4.65 and got some points back but not the full $7.00 . Still a great buy! Thanks!!

While at a local dollar tree the other day, i saw a 3 in 1 stylus for a buck. It had the white light and red laser light. Didn’t get one. May go back and take a closet look.
the Sears store closest to me closed earlier this year and the only other store in the area is in the process of closing but I have been getting some great offers lately. This week I received an email offering me a year SYW Max Reward membership for $0.99 (reg. $39) which will score me free shipping on most purchases and $15 back in points on a $15 purchase.
