I can’t get the Java to install – i went through the prompt twice and it still says to install.
I had the same problem, if you click the small help button on the smart source printing page… it has some walk through steps. Mine worked after I followed them and then restarted my browser.
Make sure you close everything after you install and open it back up
Is it just me or does anyone else feel like I can get just as good a clean with a manual brush?

I don’t like the spin brush that much since the battery will get weaker but an electric toothbrush is amazing. Once I tried it, I didn’t want to go back to manual toothbrush anymore.
Got this deal earlier today and was totally not expecting it. I was unable to print the manufacturer coupons, so this was a nice little surprise. 🙂 Also, the Vasaline BOGO coupon beeped and my store was so incredibly rude about it!
As a side note, if I have my rewards loaded to my card and they cover the whole purchase price and make my total $0, was my store correct in saying that I can’t use my manufacturer coupons? I tried using the BOGO coupon and they wouldn’t accept it because my total was $0.03. I told the manager that I wanted to use $5.99 in MQ rather than $5.99 of my rewards, and she got really hostile and started talking down to me. I’ve never had this issue in the past, but I rarely coupon at RA so I wasn’t sure if this is protocol? TIA. 🙂
I don’t have my ups loaded to my card so I can control what is used when. You might want to do that.
I’ve tried to have the cashier do it the last three times I’ve been in the store, and they tell me to call the number. Called the number and they said to do it in store. I’m beginning to think they don’t want me to shop there!
Just go to a store and ask to change it. If they say to call, ask to speak to a manager. I had this exact problem except it was $19 of ups I wasted this way. I wanted to get a killer deal on body wash and we were putting in the coupons and my total was down to $.23 and the guy said he couldn’t accept anymore coupons even though I had over $10 in manu left. It was VERY frustrating but once I got them printed, it was much easier.
Hi Caitlin. I was surprised as well with the Arm and Hammer spinbrush deal! I also did the Vasoline deal (beeped but cashier was kind and pushed it through). As for the rewards on your card… THIS is why I still have mine print out!!!! I will never do the load to card BS. No thank you 🙂
On RA website or app, you can look at your rewards and “clip” or “unclip” them. I make sure I only have clipped the amount that will be out of pocket after my coupons are taken off and that helps avoid any hassle at the register!
The same thing happened to me once and my cashier told me to have the Rite Aid card scanned last, after you have used all the manufacturer’s coupons. That way, only the remaining amount after the coupons will be deducted from the loaded UP rewards. That’s what I have been doing and it works fine for me.
I recommend that you change to have your UP rewards print out and not be loaded to your card.
If you don’t let them scan your Rite Aid Wellness Card until after they have scanned your coupons, then you shouldn’t have that problem. For people who have their rewards loaded to their card, they should always only have their Rite Aid Wellness Card scanned before they are ready to pay and all other coupons have been processed.
I always scan my card last. That way the coupons scan first and then my card so that if I have ups they are applied last and don’t take away from my coupons. Hth! (:
Give your coupons to the cashier first and lastly give your card to her that way your coupons will be taken off first hope this helps
I ran into that problem once, but the cashier kept scanning my manuf coupons and it would kick off my UPs. But the wk before last with the Mucinex, it took my ups and would not let the cashier apply the store coupon, so she had to void and rering up the item & coupon, then scan my card.
To each their own, but I prefer my UPs loaded since I don’t have but between $2 – $10 at a given time. I’ve lost the paper ups and CS would not reissue them (unlike CVS who will do it as a one time courtesy.) I usually open the RA app in store to unclip the ups (but forgot with the Mucinex). \
I too had this problem. But even scanning my card last didn’t help. Yesterday I did the Vaseline lotion deal and the cashier told me the register wouldn’t accept the video value coupons until he scanned my card. Then of course when he scanned my card the total went down and it wouldn’t take the coupons anyway! So irritating. I think I need to have mine printed out as suggested.
same issue happened to me today too. cashier told me to purchased few more items to cover up the coupon ($2.00 x 2), but she said if i return the item and buy with other stuff then i will lose the ups. >_<
I can’t go without my Sonicare, but this will make great stocking stuffers for a family that I know will need help this Christmas.

Always use paper rewards where you have control. I have heard a way around this problem is to scan your rite aid card after your manufacturer coupons that way they come off before your up rewards do. Scan card last.

(And yes, I’ve had the issue with the register taking up rewards instead of coupons, but cashier was willing to re-ring and take rewards number last. Now, as others have suggested, I am sure to scan/give rewards number last and seems to work fine that way. HTH.)

Just print out two of the $2 off spinbrush toothbrushes through the link above and then go to store and grab two of them. If you have up rewards loaded to your card already make sure to give the cashier your coupons BEFORE you give them your card! If you don’t have any Up Rewards your using then it doesn’t matter you’ll pay around $7.50 or so and then get 3 $3 Up Rewards back for your next rite aid shopping trip which is just like store credit!
