My mom went to Target this morning and she looked at these. TOTALLY NOT worth the $$. It is super cute, but not well made. Her thoughts. Just thought I’d give the heads up. I would have rushed out to get it for that price, but I’m thankful she saved me the trip! Hope this is helpful.

I agree. I saw these a few weeks ago and it looks cute but very cheap. I’m glad I got my daughter the step2 cart for a few more dollars.

My kids LOVE this. And they especially love that it looks just like the big ones in Target. We actually take it with us when we go to the store and I let them take turns pushing it (while the other one rides in the cart) and putting things in to help Momma shop. It’s adorable 🙂

Is does look cheaply made by the picture but I got one for store pick up anyway. My daughter loves taking her Little Tikes shopping cart in Target when we go shopping. Figured I could just leave this in the car instead of lugging the other one back and forth from the house and I think she will get a kick that it looks just like Targets shopping cart.

Wish it was a Christmas ornament instead. My tiny version for my tree would be perfect. LOVE Target!

It is cheap and we have a better made one at home, but every time we go to target my 3yr old loves and wants this. I think for $5 it will be worth the smile on his face Christmas morning. Thanks Collin! I’ve been checking cartwheel every morning but somehow forgot today. My husband saw this on your site can called me.

Thats cute that your husband checks H2S. My husband knows I LOVE this site so everytime on either on my phone or the computer he jokes, “So what’s new on Hip2 save” … I check this site SOOOOO many times a day! Love everything you do for us Collin!!

      • Heather C

I understand whole heartedly! I am consistently sending my husband the links for lots of H2S posts 😃 & he always appreciates the awesome deals he gets as a result! If I mention “Collin,” he knows who I mean. You’re an integral part of our family, Collin! 💘

I purchased one this morning. It may not be as durable as some other brands, but I love that it looks just like the Target carts! My daughter will love this! thank you!

  8. Teri

Got one earlier this month. It is lightweight but sturdy enough for my 2 yo. He loves it. I love it bc it looks like Target’s. Totally think it is worth the cartwheel value if u were wanting a toy cart.

Agree! My hubby checks Hip2Save and knows who Collin is! 🙂 Apparently Hip2Sace is hip with men too!

OMG how cute! I’ll have to see if my store has his in stock! My ds would get a right kick out of having a matching target cart with mom!

I haven’t checked out this particular shopping cart but wanted to add that if you are looking for a more durable kids shopping cart we have the Melissa & Doug Metal Grocery Wagon and it is wonderful. Very high quality and my kiddos love it. It is on the pricier side but worth the money if it gets used often or you find a great deal on one.

I am sending hubby to get one after work, hopefully one will still be available at our store. Doing themed basket presents this year and this is a way more adorable basket and better than a laundry basket or real basket for the grand daughter. Thanks Collin

I went this morning at 8 when i went to pay the lady told me that if i wanted to buy more then one i could because there supervisor told them to override the cartwheel offer..

I have to say that the shopping cart is definitely worth the $4.99. Every time I pick my soon to be 2 yr old up from daycare, he is pushing around their shopping cart. I have been wanting to buy him one…so I went to Target early this morning to scoop this up ( they only had 2). If you could’ve seen my son’s face when he saw me bring this in the house…priceless! Even if it breaks after 2 months…that smile is soooo worth it. Who can complain over 5 bucks?

  16. Ashley

I forgot to mention that the basket is a nice size…larger than other, more expensive carts I’ve seen.

It does look like a target baskey how cute if they sold a little target hand basket!!

It is super cute..i mean it is perfect for .4.99 got 2..

Got one today and its already broken, these are super super flimsy. The handle snapped, which surprised me because I was sure the wheels would break off first. I was hesitant to purchase it when I saw it, but I was in the store when I saw the cartwheel offer so I went for it. Next time I need to listen to my gut! These will not last your child more than a day or two, be ready for some tears, they are just too cheaply made and the plastic is really thin and brittle. Best bet keep it off carpet or any resistant surface and it may last you 3 days instead of 1, lol! But I found a step2 one with 5 star reviews for $14.99 shipped to my door, so all will be good again.
