I went to Staples to purchase the HP2544 wireless printer after seeing it on their website for $29.99. In the store it was on display for $19. But when I took it to the register, it rang up for just $14.50! I used a 15% off one item coupon, bringing my total to $12.32 (expired 🙁 )!
NOTE from Collin: One of my friends who lives in Boise, Idaho went and tested this deal… AND it totally worked! The printer did in fact ring up for just $14.50. Keep in mind that is wasn’t marked at that low price, so be sure to price check. Also, note that if you don’t spot this printer, ask an associate to check in the back.

The black friday price was $19 at Staples. I got one and I LOVE it. Easy to set up and use. Walmart has the ink combo HP61 bonus pack for $19 as well, if it’s still in stock near you. That less then half price for the ink and a nice little bonus pack with it.

I bought this printer on Black Friday for 19.99. It is a great wireless printer for the price! Set up was very easy and so far works great! It comes with a color and black ink cartridge, so right there makes it worth it, considering the price of ink!
Do you know if it’s Mac compatible as well?

WOO HOO! Got the last one in Needham, Massachusetts! with tax it came up to 13.09! You are the best Collin! (And Melissa as well!) And I checked like 5 other stores in my area but no luck….funny thing is: a lot of the phones that I called…the message said “we are currently closed”…but on the website it showed holiday hours! So I didn’t hit any button and just waited on the phone….and sure enough, most of the stores transferred me to an associate! ( I think even a store near Atlanta did that…wanted one for my friend down there) There’s a tip for you guys (especially in the other time zones) that if you call up and think you have to wait until tomorrow, well just hang in there!!!

I got mine at the location on Providence at the 485 intersection. It wasn’t listed in their system but it was on the shelf behind the hp2540 model. So to everyone check the inventory and make sure it’s not hidden as mine was.

That is a pretty good deal if you print simple things or if you want something in color. I found myself spending quite a bit on ink. I purchased a laser printer (Lexmark E260) 4 years ago at Staples. It was $99 with a $50 easy rebate. In 4 years I replaced my toner twice. I print about 50 to 150 pages a week, so a laser printer works best for me.

I can print a ream of paper worth of coupons in about 2 1/2 weeks and I will never buy inkjet again – even if they were giving them away! Even the refilled cartridges are too expensive for the amount I print. My brother laser that I got last year for under 50 bucks uses a $12 compatible toner cartridge that I only have to buy once every 3 months (or per 4 reams of printer paper). With inkjet I was buying 2 or 3 refilled cartridges a month at $14 each, sometimes more! I’m telling you, if you print lots of coupons, laser is the only way to go. And the coupons print with clearer more defined barcodes that ALWAYS scan at the registers. Sometimes my old inkjet printer ones would start to smear barcodes after printing several pages during the 1st of the month.
I agree with every bit of this. I used to print with an HP inkjet and would have constant trouble with coupons scanning at the register. And, I was constantly purchasing ink. I love my Brother laser printer. I purchased it for $50 almost a year ago and have changed the toner once. I also used a generic for about $12. I wouldn’t use this is you’re a couponer. Your savings will get eaten up by ink refills.
I think I got in on the same laser brother deal for less than $50. Says low toner, cause I haven’t replace the toner yet. Any tips on where to find a replacement?

Hi, I have a trick to reset the toner which lasts again for a while without replacing. I have set of instructions, so have to type up from notebook. Just send an email at smeetj80@gmail.com, I will email the instructions ASAP.

Laser is fine and dandy if you are just printing coupons, but we print a lot of lab quality photos here at home, and laser printers just dont have that high of quality for photos. Love my HP photo printer.

So, I have an HP Deskjet. I have purchased remanufactured ink and have had no trouble with that. Then once, I dont know where exactly I purchased ones that were in a clear cartridge…and this made it easy to try to refill my own. I actually have bought one set of Ink refills for like $10-$20 a year ago, and pretty much use my printer for printing deals and coupons. My husband uses it but not too much. I feel I spend very little to refill my ink. Only issue is, since I have been refilling them, the chips do not send me a message when I am low on ink because, according to the chips, they are already low. So in the middle of printing coupons, I can just– run out of ink. Frustrating to lose “precious coupons” since you can only print two. But I have the syringes and some gloves, and it is actually quite easy to do. I watched some utube videos too. I just insert the syring in the top little hole. This is using the HP 564 ink sets. I believe i have used comboink.com and amazon.com. I will have to figure out where I got everything when I run out , since it was so long ago.

First of all I ♡ your name! Lol Ok so I went to buy two but bought one… don’t wanna get greedy. And I bought the $19.00 printer ink combo cartridge pack since these printers only come with “starter” ink (that’s what to the nice associate told me) & I price matched Walmart.com to get that deal. Pretty sweet considering it was over $35.00 in store at Staples. So I also was permitted to use the expired 15% off coupon! YAYYYYY So my total purchase for the printer and combo ink pack was $30.00… can’t even buy the ink for that on a normal day. I’m impressed. Where do you live???? they had more at this store in V.A.
