   This is a wonderful idea. No waste from the little coffee pods like the Keurig, no toxins from the label and ink like the coffee pods, no non-recyclable plastic. I love this idea! Thanks for sharing!!

   I bought this coffeemaker in lieu of a keurig when they became popular a few years ago. I was not a fan of it! I loved the concept, but it didn’t make a particularly great cup of coffee.

  Agreed! Aside from the taste, it had a muddy residue at the bottom of each cup.

  Mine has only had “muddy” in the bottom once because i overfilled it. I find it does better to pour the coffee in rather than scooping.

   I used to have one of these before I finally got a Keurig last year. I loved it! Never any “muddy” coffee, but you have to be careful how full you fill the scoop. I even got one for my grandma because she was making a pot of coffee every day and only drinking one cup. She loves it too!

   My coffee maker is similar to this but you just scoop the grounds into a reusable filter. It’s the walgreens brand ‘living solutions ‘ and I think they’re regular $20 or so but go on sale quite a bit and I’ve had mine for over a year now and love it!

   I LOVE this coffeemaker. I did a double-take at the post and realized I had the exact same one! It makes a great cup of coffee. I have used it every day since my baby was born 3 1/2 months ago, and it is the start to my day every day! I definitely recommend this coffeemaker in lieu of other single cup brewers, and definitely over the Keurig brewers. No expensive pods to buy, so you can use any type of coffee, and the filter is reusable, so nothing to throw away after every cup made! This is a great deal!
