Just FYI. Right now the ONLY way to become a new member is to go to a physical Coach outlet and sign up in person. And it can take a while before you can get into the online sales. The old “invitation” by other member thing no longer applies.

Just thought I would mention — many (IMO if not most) of the items are made just for the outlet. So again IMO, its not the same quality (again IMO). That’s not saying they are bad, but the leather might not be the same soft, buttery leather etc. They might cut corners to save money and the item might not have all the details. Just mentioning, if one sees a bag at a great price and they might think they are scoring a great deal because the site says the bag retails for x amount, and the person might think, wow, I know I can’t get a bag at the “real” Coach store for that price. So they think they are scoring the deal of the year. And, they have sales all the time, but I think you have to get the invite to the sale (I used to get the emails often).
I have two bags, and they are fine. Lots of people don’t know that many outlets have stuff made just for the outlet (like I think Banana Republic etc).
I think its a great price to get a wallet especially since I junk up wallets so quickly.
Invitation though other member is long gone. Have to go to an outlet store to sign up. I agree most people not aware difference between MFF or FP (made for factory or full-price) but the general public do prefer the price point and the signature desig (the”Cs”) that dominates the MFF market. In the last few years I’ve purchased 2 closet fulls of mainly FP, leather Coach bags. Everytime I tried to gift items to my relatives or friends, hands down they ignore all those premium leather stuff and go for the MFF items.
Coach has also improved on the quality of the MFF items. They even remade many of the popular FP Madison lines such as the Phoebe, to be sold exclusively at the outlet store and online, with very minimal difference from the original production.
As long as it suits your taste and your budget, go for whatever makes you happy.
Where can you find out more about MFF and the brands that do that?
Yes they do make outlet only items. But if you go to the store and ask them to show you the retail bags, and watches they will. They get some stuff from retail in the outlet stores. I always ask and the retail items are always outlet prices. Just a fyi if it you want the coach quality. I got a retail watch $300 for $100 a few weeks ago!

I used to shop Coach very often but recently the belt broke on one of my bags..their customer service is horrible and they actually told me to go to a local cobbler and get it repaired….ya i knew that was an option…i didnt need to call up Coach for that.
I had a problem with a bag I had purchased at an outlet store & had a great experience with customer service. Have also purchased several from the website and all have been great.

In every state is a place named Like Outlet mall, you can found all kinds of stores in outlet, same brand name,more chipper, even if you buy something in Coach outlet.com you can go to the store and returned.
