Would you say this is a very good deal and a very good brand/product? I’ve used a wooden crib for my first baby, but this looks more portable and is more of a space-saver so considering buying it for the second baby. TIA!

It is a good price and a good brand, but it sounds like you are maybe thinking of using it instead of a crib which I wouldn’t recommend. You can’t put any sheets (not even a fitted sheet like in a crib) or blankets in there, so the baby is just on a slippery (though easy to wash off) surface. We have had it in our room for the first few weeks until we move our baby to her own room and crib and it has worked great for that since she is still in a swaddle and can’t move much. It doesn’t seem like it would be very comfortable for her as she gets older.

They have sheets and better mattresses for these. They can be used for sleeping – it’s a bassinet as pictured.

It specifically says in the directions to use only the pad provided without any bedding, comforters etc. Of course all parents can choose if they want to follow that or not.

Got this (different pattern) in 2012. I love this one. Nice quality and easy to use. Plus it’s a base price because it doesn’t come with all the extras, which we did not need anyway. Mine came with a tailored fitted sheet just for the PNP. My mom picked up another one elsewhere, spare sheets are easy enough to find.

I’m not a parent myself but I used to nanny and most of the families I worked with used these while traveling and for naps when at a friend’s house so they could keep them on a schedule. HTH.

My grandmother bought one for me when we had our first. Mine had the changing table attached. But it was easy to put together. It was good quality. But I never actually used it for her to sleep in, since we cosleep. But it was nice for when I was showering.
