Ones at home goods and target are indeed Aden and anais brand, but will say “made for target” on them and don’t compare to the pure Aden and anais ones listed here. These are SO much softer
Question… What age did you swaddle up to? My first hated the swaddle so it was never an issue. My second is going on 3 months and won’t sleep well without a super swaddle. I think I need to invest in something more breathable for the warmer weather ahead since I don’t see her growing out of her swaddle love anytime soon.
My first was really fussy with reflux etc and couldn’t sleep without her swaddle — she was in one until around nine months, though the last few months were in a zipadeezip. Doctor never saw a problem with it, and she was normal with all her physical milestones. My second didn’t swaddle as long just because he was so huge I couldn’t fit him in one so had to stop earlier than he wanted.
I stopped swaddling my son when he started taking his arms out by himself. Then I started putting him in warmer clothes and taking the blankets away. My son loooved to be swaddled, and then one day he decided he didnt want to anymore. I vet your sweet girl will tell you when she is ready. 🙂 good luck!
These blankets are still my son’s favorite! He is like Linus with these things! Lol
My daughter stayed 2-arm swaddle for 4 months, then 1-arm swaddle until 10 months. My son was 2-arm swaddle for 3 months, then 1-arm swaddle until 6 months. My kids slept better being swaddled. Sometimes it felt like they were swaddled too long, but I don’t even bat an eye looking back at it. I loved these blankets for a snug swaddle!
When baby started rolling we stopped swaddling. We use sleep sacks now and she’s 10 months.
These are the BEST! so worth the money. I used mine to swaddle, and as a wind blocker over stroller. Loved them perfect in the summer as a light cover for baby. I also used mine right up to 2/3 years just as light sheet.

These blankets are plenty big! Bigger than any other receiving blanket I ever got.
I have a bunch of these and used them until my baby was 7-8 months (tho towards the end I can only swaddle half of him but that’s how he loves it anyway) hth:-)

I have the set pictured. Used them on both my boys not to swaddle but as s blanket, stroller cover, nursing cover, carseat shade. They are super soft and large and cute to boot. Great investment.
Why are these so good? I have thought about making my own muslin swaddle blankets. Is there a reason that I would not want to do that and buy these instead?
