Anyone know of deals on Scotts fertilizer? All the Walmarts by us were out of stock in the deal Collin posted earlier this week. Hoping to tackle the yard this weekend. TIA

    • Jenn

My husband said the deal that Lowe’s and Home Depot had with 20% off if you bought 2 Scott’s items was pretty good. Pretty sure BJ’s also has a coupon for similar deal. So check into those.

      • Ohiogirl

Thanks Jenn. I will check all those out. Didn’t even think about BJs!

        • Jenn

If you need the BJ’s coupon – I can mail it to you just let me know. It was in the last small booklet they sent out.

    • amanda

You can price match home depo

    • Ohiogirl

Thanks everyone. Jenn I found the scotts coupon on BJs.com. That was nice of you to offer. Now I just need to calculate who has the best price per square foot

I always wait for this event to get my seeds. They have been BOGO during this sale but I don’t see that this year.

    • Samantha

I was just in my store and the seed packets are BOGO from 4/9 to 4/19, so you might want to check in store… HTH 🙂

  6. isha

If you are going to buy miracle-gro garden soil go lowes its $2 for 1 cu feet. Also if you buy from home depot same bag it will price match to lowes + 10% off (home depot price match policy). So makes each one 1.80 (less than wat home dept has for .75 cf for sale)

  7. Sheila

Just FYI if you’re trying to garden on a budget Lowes will significantly mark down any ripped/damaged bags of soil and mulch. It has saved me so much money, only placeI’ill buy it! Just ask a garden clerk & they can help with it.

    • isha

Even home depot does that. There was soil bag with golfsize opening and i thouht of asking if they give discount (i thoght they may atleast do 10%) they have me for 50% which was really good deal….and very little nothing got loose from soil. So do ask!!!

anyone know what types of “shrubs” are included in this sale?

    • sarah

At my store, they had azaleas, blue star juniper, Heather, and a cone shaped evergreen bush. That’s about it. But the ad says it varies by store.

      • td

thanks, i am new to gardening and dont really know what would be a shrub. this helps!

  9. Amanda

OhioGirl try SAMs Club if you have a me membership for Scott’s Fertilizer.

  10. Chaneld83

Awesome deals. Just ordered the Charcoal/Black area rug and two shower heads. Thanks for the heads up!

    • nicolegammeter

      You are welcome! 🙂

  11. Carol

I got Gardenias in the 2.50 shrub sale. I also saw Azaleas.

    • nicolegammeter

      🙂

  12. amber

So, Lowe’s will price match this, right? plus 10% off?

  13. Ab

Just got off the phone with lowes, nursery dept. They said they will price match as long as they have the same size (gallon/pot size) shrub as advertised u Home Depot, they would just need you to show the weekly ad via paper or phone to hen when checking out.

  14. Ruthann

How do u join the garden club ?

  15. Cindra Ridgley

Bought Bonnie plants clearly signed 5 for $10 -black Friday special. Got to the register and were charged full price. The girl blew us off when we brought it to her attention-said it was the other plants – the ones in peat pots next to them. No peat pot on the entire rack of plants. If it was signed they should have honored it. If I could insert a pic here I would.

    • Christine

Hi, I think the sale is on the smaller Bonny plants, ones listed up to $4? I double checked about pricing on a strawberry plant and went back and found the smaller pot. At my store, they come in biodegradable containers. Citronella plants also in the same section/shelves were not included. I believe they were $5.88 or something like that. Depends on what u pick up but orig price should be 3 something for the sale Bonny plants. Hope this helps
