   So, I’m completely new to Redbox, but I thought you rented movies through the kiosks.. How do you use the code online? Do you rent/watch a movie over the internet with this code? Sorry, I really don’t know but would like to take advantage of this!

  You may reserve your rental via their site or the app as well. Once you choose your rental, you pick it up at the kiosk. Use the code while you’re checking out to score it for free! 🙂

  Hi! You can rent them at the kiosk, but a lot of the free codes only work using the website or their app. Just go to their website or download the app. You’ll have to make an account and enter a credit/debit card. Then select your movie, choose a pickup location, enter the code at checkout and go pick up your movie. You won’t be charged unless you don’t return your movie by 9pm the next day. Super easy and best of all, FREE! 😃

   dang! I got my text back right away, but my app and my computer keep saying “this code is not valid.” Anyone have the same issue? waste of my time.
