Am I the only one that ALWAYS has a hard time getting shoprunner to apply on this site? So annoying.
I can’t get it to work either! It says all of my items are eligible but is still charging me shipping. Glad I’m not the only one :/
Same here, though items are shoprunner eligible, it’s charging me full price for shipping. Claire’s customer support said they can’t help with this issue and referred me to shop runner. Shop runner tried to refer me back to Claire’s and the best they could do is refund me later for the amount I am overcharged for shipping. Not the first time I’ve had this issue with Shoprunner lately. I’m canceling my account, since I paid over $70 for a year’s membership..
I had an issue with them around Christmas time. I ordered something using shoprunner and I got the item 3 days later. Most of the time I wouldn’t have cared but I needed it in the morning on that 3rd day. I called Claire’s and they blamed it on shoprunner. I called shoprunner and they blamed it on Claire’s. I cancelled shoprunner and have not shopped at Claire’s since.
Just my luck…. Thanks Claires…. for saving me $35…. due to…. ‘some or ALL of the items in your cart are unavailable’…. I was not going to search through 33 items to see which ones… I must get my patience from my 5 year old some days !!!
I’m in an endless loop of that as well. Not to mention, it doesn’t even tell you which items are out of stock. I’m giving up. Not worth it!
I have tried adding, removing, adding items to my cart again, deleting everything in my cart, adding different items, round and round and round. I have tried to order items, but again, as others have posted, I have not been able to place an order because it says items in my cart have sold out. But, the site does not show you which items have sold out. Maybe the entire store sold out! LOL! I don’t know. But, after a half hour or more of trying to place a large order, I too am giving up.
A bunch i found appear in stock, but in the description say only in canada. That was my issue. Check descriptions.
It said no delivery to my address. Then it said some of the items in my cart sold out, but it does not say which items. Just too much trouble. I give up

The best way out is to buy in store, if you are nearby though.
I put some items in my cart and then logged in my shoprunner account and it was charging me Expedia shipping.my all items were shoprunner eligible . Tried few times and items disappeared. So frustrating😞
Same – shipping charge applied even though all items qualified. Will think twice before shopping Claire next time. Minus one customer and counting
To those of you having trouble using Shoprunner, here is what worked for me. Go to the Shoprunner website, login, search for Claire’s, click on Claire’s through that link, add Shoprunner-eligible items to your cart, use code Entertainment25 for 25% off. When you check-out if it tries to charge you expedited shipping on the shipping details page, just log out of Shoprunner and login again on that same page. It’s a pain, but doing it this way worked for me.
Thank you! Doing it this way worked for me. I had to log in and out a couple times, but I was able to get 7 product for under $6. I did end up having to split my order into two orders because the first time around it said some products were out of stock – but doesn’t tell you which ones those are 🙁 So I randomly deselected a few and my order went through fine. Then I did a new order and ordered the ones I had deselected the first time through, and guess what? That order went through too. It took a little time and patience but finally paid off.
Was getting frustrated with the shoprunner thing, then read everyone’s comments. It’s not working for me, either. We have free shoprunner through our AmEx card. This is the first time I’ve experienced problems with it.

claires customer service says they can refund shipping, once it has been shipped 48 hrs later. Hopefully it works.
When I placed my order online with and signed up to shoprunner, I ordered 5 shoprunner eligible items and when I paid through paypal it showed my order was $4.05 but when I got my confirmation email I had been charged an express delivery fee of $12.50. I called customer service and was told they are having issues with shoprunner and that they were looking into this and that they would reverse the shipping charges but in the meantime I’m being charged $17 for a $4 order. ugh. Just an FYI.
worst experience ever SIX phone calls to cancel order, everything was correct (paid through paypal) a total of $3.22 got an email charging $15.72! Thank goodness it was nothing needed only gift closet gifts. Horrible customer service for Claire’s, finally talked to supervisor, that was not happy because the first 5 people said they could not cancel the order. Craziness. Hopefully it all cancels and refunds as they say it will.
Thank you! I used the 25% off coupon code and 7% back through topcashback.com. My son asked for his initial jewelry for his birthday coming up and I didn’t want to spend a lot, so this was perfect! I got a few other things also, and just paid shipping since the initial set didn’t qualify for shoprunner, but it was still worth it. Less than $12 shipped for 7 items. 🙂
For people having out of stock issues, i had this problem too. I went back to the items and noticed some said only available in canada. When i removed those, the order worked. Try that if you havent, and still want to order. This site is horrible for ordering. Ive ordered 3 times in the past and always get out of stock, address errors or shoprunner issues. So irritating.
