   Wow… About 20 years ago when my parents bought me a american girl doll my parents spent close to $100! Ugh what a waste! These dolls were so unnecessarily overpriced!

  The big dolls are still over $100… The ones you see here are mini dolls. Like 6″ or something like that

   My daughter is just about “out” oh the AG phase. She has 4 folks, and honestly they look near the same overall. She didn’t really play with them much, but she did like to dress them. Good quality then, but I dislike all the changes they are making now. I had to sell all my kirsten clothing a couple years ago when things were tight, and that made me a little sad. Oh well. It’s just “stuff!@

   my daughter loves these little 6 inch dolls (she is almost 5.) However, we both like the older versions with the soft body vs. these new versions with the hard body. She has stopped wanting AG and just wants the Target brand ones now (they still have the soft bodies).

  Yes, the mini dolls are posable. Both arms and legs, as well as the head move. We have 2, a new style Julie and an old style Caroline.
