  I agree with you, this will be a good gift for my brother with special needs too.
  And just an idea for you, because his special needs he brakes almost all what I gave to him, but I bought an ipad fisrt generation and he still have it for half year now. Is because I bought a really good case and I think the ipad first generation is stroger than the new ones.

   I bought my 4 year old one for Christmas, i didn’t buy my 2 year old one and I’m glad because i don’t think it’s for that young.

   My 8yold asked for this for Christmas and I could not find it anywhere but for $60. This is a great price! She loves it and her 3 younger siblings all want to use it. Her fav part is the camera feature. We don’t do a lot of technology with our kids (TV, iPad, etc) so maybe that’s why an 8yold would be happy with this, even though it’s marketed for younger kids.
