My boys are 3 and 4 (4 and 5 in less than a month). I know it says age 6 minimum but do you think they would be able to participate?
Just depends on store. Call ahead to ask. My store in CO is very firm
on age and actually sends kids away if they think you’re too young. Feel like if they could require kids birth certificate they would 🙁 Lame customer service. Good Luck, really hope your store is nicer & kids get to participate, its a fun event.
When you register your 3-5 year olds, a box will come up asking you agree to assist them in making it. I was able to successfully register my 4 year old.
Yes they allow any age group they just mention but they don’t see my son is 2&half but last workshop we attended so their is no age problem
I have a 3 year old and she was allow to do it. So I don’t think it’s a problem.
This looks like a cool event, sad that I dont have a Lego store…
At our store, they ask each kid how old they are and I have seen them refuse younger kids. It wasn’t like this before where anyone could participate but in the past year there has been a crack-down. It’s for ages 6-14.
I think it may be dependent on stores whether or not they allow younger kids. There is such a demand in our stores (long lines) that they enforce the age. They ask how old our kids are and only allow kids to build or take home a kit if they are within the age which is why at first our younger was always disappointed as our his older sis was the only one within the age, so he could never get any.
Wow, every single time slot is already at capacity at our Lego store. 🙁
Is there a point in registering? I’ve just showed up with my kids the last few times and still got in without doing that. Or does registering let you cut through that long line??
By the sounds of it registration will be required to participate after this month’s model.
Did anyone successfully register it? The website kept asking me to select a date/time that has available spots. Is it a bug or full?
