    “While supplies last”?

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe they’ll run out of nuggets lol.

They mean the toy. Last year my Wendy’s run out of the toy and give an extra ice cream in its place.

    • Krista

Oh, okay. That makes more sense.

Our Wendy’s in AZ have been doing this for a long time. I think since the beginning of the year. They let me order one too. It was a great place to go after soccer practice

I don’t have little ones anymore, but I’m wondering why they limit the time of day. I used to take the kiddos out for lunch more than dinner.

    • Michelle W

Every time we have gone, they have been pretty dead. I think it is to get more traffic in the evenings.

      • Laura

        Ah – makes sense

That’s exactly why they limit it. The whole point of promotions is to get people to try new products, or in this case to purchase a product during a time they normally wouldn’t. They don’t need to reduce the price to get extra business during times they’re already busy and I bet kids meals are more popular during the day in the summer when kids/stay-at-home-parents would take the kiddos out for lunch. Plus, (and I’m using broad-sweeping generalizations now, not trying to offend anyone) if they offered $1.99 kids meals during the day, a SAHP could pay for one full priced adult meal then get loss-leader cheap kids meals for all 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 kids who are home from school. In the evening you’re a little more likely to get the whole family to make purchases which could include a second parent, grandparent, etc.

(As a work-away-from-home-mom who doesn’t get to spend every evening with the hubs this is great for the evenings when it’s just me and our daughter, especially if they’ll let me get a kids meals too!)

My lo is 3…wat the kids meal have….any idea…

    • Michelle W

They have a choice of nuggets, cheeseburger, hamburger or Chicken wrap. Then you can choose fries or apples. Milk or soft drink.

      • Brittany

Ours gives the option of a junior frosty.

      • Carla

My almost 5 yr old has never eaten nuggets, a hamburger, or fruit. Would it be so horrible if I got the meal for myself with my child in the car and pretended like it was his?!

        • Just Me

I always get myself a kids meal too. I’ve never had anyone ask but I am usually ordering drive thru. I order a kids meals at mcds too when family night kids meals are $1.99

        • Stormy

Do that. I don’t think they’d care lol.

          • brindha

We do it all the time…esp when they have 1.99 offer ๐Ÿ˜‰ good portion control too… they won’t mind. Enjoy!

    • brindha

My wendys allows chicken sandwich if u ask in kids meal though it’s not in the menu. My kids always get it.
