These towels aren’t great quality. I exchanged them upon arrival. Thumbs down from me πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»

    • Laura

I agree. I used to buy these. They are junk. Not even worth $1.99

    • Sarah

Just about to say the same thing.

      • Nora

Couldn’t agree more, these towel are notorious for shedding! I can feel the pieces of towel all over my skin when I apply body lotion after drying with these towels, I threw them all out!

    • alison

Agreed. Bought them when Collin posted about them a year and a half ago. They are pretty terrible. I was genuinely surprised. My husband doesn’t mind, but I only let him use them in the winter. They are thin and they dry out quickly even when it’s cold in the house.

    • Sha'

They have another brand that is decent…

  2. Michelle

Ughh, I need new towels and they don’t have the colors I need ( grey and yellow )

  3. Connie

I buy these towels and I love them. That’s all I ever use. Always get them when they are on sale.

  4. Emily

I was able to purchase 16 towels in 4 different colors (4 of each color) and plan on giving them as gifts – wedding and Christmas. I did “in store pick up”, so if they truly are horrible, I can just return them when I go to pick them up. But hey, for less than $2 a towel it was worth a try.

    • Meredith

How did you get the in store pick up and pay for them with the deals? I could only purchase them online if I were to have them shipped. Also, how were you able to use all three promos?

  5. Savannah

My mom works for Kohls and these are the only towels I’ve ever bought I have 2 that are nearly 7 years old, to worn for a bath towel but great for things like hair dyeing and things like that.

  6. Brittney K

I got some of these as a wedding gift a few years ago. I love them! They are not super think and fully- which I like honestly. The are thinner but absorb great. Great for hair because they don’t get super heavy when wet.

  7. Heather

About six years ago I bought some-great quality and nice and plush. Last year I bought some to replace the old ones and they were considerably thinner and my husband even questioned where I got the “cheap” towels. I was surprised at how different the quality was.

    • Denise

Heather do you remember where you bought your thicker towels from?

      • Joy

I think she’s trying to say that she bought Kohl’s towels several years ago and liked them, but now they aren’t very good quality as compared to before.

        • Heather

Yes-Kohls – sorry wasn’t clear. I wonder if quality is better today?

          • Carmen

No, it’s not better. I bought them in May and they are super thin. I don’t like them at all.

  8. ma

I have these towels and have used them for a few years before they start wearing thin and ripping.I always buy them on sale and with a coupon.I wash them every week and have no problem with them .If you like a thick towel then these are not for you but if you are not worried about thickness then they are good for the price.Have bought them as gifts and no one had complained about the quality.

  9. Annie

I just bought 16 – great for additions to wedding gifts! I don’t know if they’re good or bad – but for the price I’m happy to buy them.

  10. Chelsea

Am I missing the In store pick up option during checkout? I’m on my mobile phone so I don’t know if that makes a difference.

    • AB

      Can’t use mobile site.

    • Shopper

Only appears on desktop view, on product page.

  11. Kenzie

It’s only allowing me to put two of the promo codes in, is anyone else having this problem?

    • Nawj101@yahoo.com

Are you on mobile? If so, you can only do 2 promo codes. On desktop you can do more than 2.

    • Shar

RU using your phone or tablet? Try it on the computer instead.

  12. Kimmy

Since the normal price is $9.99 and the size seems about equivalent, should I be expecting the quality of a beach towel? Another idea, if people are unhappy with the quality or want to pass it forward, this is still a fantastic price and I’m sure the towels would be appreciated at places like shelters (homeless, woman’s and animal).

    • Danielle O.

They are definitely thinner than a beach towel, but they absorb water just fine.

I agree with your great idea! πŸ™‚

  13. Bobbie

    Got 10–thank you Collin!

  14. Tonya Marie

These towels are perfect for everyday use! My family goes through towels often (mud from the yard or grease on hands) and for the price on these you just can’t find any cheaper.

  15. Rhonda

I have been buying these for about 4 years, I wish they would wear out so I can get some new colors!!! I don’t want a huge super thick towel and these are nice and thick without being too thick.

  16. Phoebe

Kohls also sent out mailers this week with coupons! I got one with a 15 dollar off 15 dollars or more and also a 10 off 10 from the same mailer!!! so in my cart I have 10 towels for 7 dollars!!!!! Awesome deal! TY Colin!

    • Jenn

My $15 off of $15 was just for instore. :/

      • Phoebe

awe mine isn’t try and use it online! mine came off as if it was kohls cash

    • Maria

I will be on the lookout for this! Hope I get one!

  17. Leighann

I’ve seen a couple of places where people have said they’ll get these towels and donate them to animal shelters, because they’re not that good quality anymore and they’re cheap.

So, if you do purchase them and don’t like the quality, please consider donating them to your local shelter or rescue.

  18. Christie

While The quality of these towels has gone down considerably and I dont normally buy them anymore. These will be great for my daughter when she goes off to college next month! And 16 means that she most likely will be bringing me laundry home every few weeks to visit! LOL πŸ™‚ Thanks for the deal!

    • Emily

These would make good going away gifts for her friends too. She won’t need 16 towels but 4 towels for 4 friends means that you can wrap them up with some body wash and call it a day! Don’t forget to add in hand towels and a wash cloth or two!

  19. Erin

Love these for my dogs crate. The quality is totally not what they used to be.

  20. vchavez132

Every time there is a good deal, some one always turns the comments into negative ones. Keep your opinions to yourself…The whole point is to save money..

    • jenn

She noted in the post reviews were mixed and for people to post their opinions, good or bad.

    • Shari

If nobody says hey these may not be what you expect then you may throw them away. How is that saving money?
I like that these are thinner. They dry faster. I did however have to wash them a dozen times before they stopped shedding. And i am not exaggerating!

    • Laura

Exactly! that’s why I shared MY experience. I’m trying to save you money. The towels in MY experience used to be good. Now, they are very thin and get holes in them rather quickly. Not to mention the seaming comes undone.

    • Jenn

I personally find thes comments constructive and helpful and I do think anyone was being rude. For me I’m not saving money if I have to replace them in a short period of time for quality issues. I’d rather spend a little more and have them longer.

  21. Chrissie

That’s just a plain dumb comment. They are offering their input to help others. If you don’t like the comments, don’t read them. Easy peasy!

  22. sls0822

I purchased some of these for my teenage daughter’s bathroom. They are not super quality, but sufficient for her as she hasn’t learned how to take proper care of her things yet…therefore, I can afford to replace them when she ruins them!
For guests and my bathroom, I purchase a better quality.
They are very thin, but they do the job. Just not fancy or guest quality lol.
I would buy them again though for my daughter lol.

  23. Stacey C

I ordered 16 so Thank You Collin and team. Personally I prefer the thinner towels for my long hair. Not so much weight on my head.

  24. Vivi Gonzales

I purchased 10 for my dogs, such a great deal, thanks for sharing Collin!

  25. Cari

Thanks! This will be perfect for camping. These will stay in my rv.

  26. Karen Sullivan

Towels are indeed not totally what they used to be. I have some still from a bath shop I used to work at when I was 19, I’m 50 now! Fieldcrest, Cannon, etc and I still use them as bath towels.

  27. Lolie

Do you get kohl’s cash back if your total is $50 before discounts or after the discounts are taken off.

    • Melissa

I am curious about this too!

    • Ashley

Its the final price you pay that you would get Kohls Cash from, i wish it was the other way πŸ˜‰

      • Rose

So I just bought 16 towels over $50 after all discount meaning that the price I paid was $30 something so I won’t get the kohl’s cash back correct?

        • Shopper

Your during checkout/order confirmation would have stated if you were to receive Kohl’s cash.

  28. Tori

Thanks for the heads up! My daughter is going to Forestry College and I was dreading sending even my not-so-good towels. Between the lake with canoes outside the dormroom and the dirt trails between buildings, the last thing I need to send is “good” towels. Now I can tell her to just use them as equipment rags when they get bad and at that price I won’t care.

    Blood pressure saved!

  29. Vanessa

Thanks so much for posting this deal Collin. I did not get towels, but 6pk Big one ($3.99) and 6pk Frozen washcloth sets ($8) for Operation Christmas child. My son’s school asks for donations every year and with all the great deals that you post, I am able to send several garbage bags full for very little out of pocket. The students sort and fill the boxes with donated items.

    https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1889243/the-big-one-chevron-texture-6-pk-washcloths.jsp

I got 9 Big One and 2 Frozen sets for a total of $22.84 + tax. I had $5 Yes rewards and paid for the rest with Swagbucks gift cards. So without the Yes rewards, you’d pay $27.84 + tax for 66 washcloths.

I’m so thankful for your site, because it enables me to be a blessing to others without breaking the bank

  30. Momma

My husband and I prefer thinner towels so these are great for us. That being said if you like thick towels you will not like these. I have some of these that at 5 years old and some that are 1 1/2 years old and they are all still in great shape. I have 7 in my family so these towels get washed sometimes 2 times a week. I don’t remember the shedding so I can’t comment on that.

  31. Elaine

I placed an order. All our towels are in terrible shape and I’ve been meaning to replace them for awhile. If these end up being awful quality, oh well, they were less than $2 each. I bought several of the Big One beach towels earlier this summer and have been happy with them so I’m hopeful.

  32. Sheryl

I just got 4 brown and 4 light brown for us to use, 4 purple for my grooming dogs and 4 BIg One Queen sized pillows… all for 30.05 after tax…. the pillows were 3 for 10 also… not for about $1.87 each

  33. rhane

I paid 13 big one towels for 21.54 including tax. Then got ebates cash back of $1.15 πŸ™‚ Thanks Collin.

  34. lori

is the $3 for $10 price available in store too?

    • Tina

Yes, same price in Store. They are marked with a different price but rang up 3 for $10.

  35. Wendy

Can these be returned to the store if I don’t like them?

  36. Stacy

Kohls policy is you can return anything at anytime

  37. sandyharper08

I have 9 kids, so we use a ton of towels every week. I agree they have become much thinner over the years, but these are just fine for us. I don’t mind the thinner towels they dry quick, and I wash them at least 2 times a week. I have some they are a few years old and are not ripped. It’s all in personal preference I guess. I just want to add as well, that you can use all of those coupon codes for backpacks as well, I just got 3 kids backpacks and a pk of 4 bowls and paid $25 which is like getting each backpack for $8.88 and a free pack of bowls!!

  38. Trisha

It won’t let me use 3 codes..

  39. Ally

I had to call kohls customer service and I purchased them that way! It kept leading me to their mobile site – which doesn’t allow me to tweak the order. They are very thin – no joke, but I prefer towels a little thin anyways because they’re easy to wash and dry and they don’t get too heavy. I’m excited to use them and I got 10 different colors!! πŸ™‚

  40. Deanne

Why can’t I add all three promo codes? Am I doing something wrong? Can only stack 2

  41. Leah

Has anyone’s order gotten cancelled?? I got an email this morning stating that my order was cancelled due to products being out of stock. Bummer!
