  38. MommySpendsLess

How long donthe gummy-type candies last, unopened? Has anyone tried freezing them? My coworker freezes bags of chocolate, like Hershey’s kisses, that she gets great deals on and uses them for Christmas baking. We don’t need a ton of candy sitting around but I’m thinking they’d be good for Christmas stockings, Easter baskets or even Valentine’s Day (if I Can find the individually wrapped lollipops like one reader did).

    • Heather

Almost all of the candy I bought today for 90% off expired in April-October of 2016. So they are good for a long time. Honestly I was surprised it was so cheap when it was not even near expiration.

  39. Heather

I am so glad I went to ALL 4 stores near me. The first I LOADED up on school supplies. About $500 worth for $12 with coupons! Those will all go to donations. We load the backpacks with supplies and donate to shelters. The 2nd and 3rd stores had NOTHING (literally bare shelves). I tried one more and hit the candy jackpot. I said to the few people in store… if anyone wants any candy from this rack grab it quick because I am about to buy it all. They laughed, no one wanted any. I bought everything on the display. Sour patch kids, warheads, airheads, lollipops, spongebob & minion topped candy, cotton candy and a TON more. I bought the $.99 hallmark cards and used a bunch of $3 coupons to pay for it, so free cards on top of 90% off candy! We are now totally set for Halloween, school parties, and birthday party favors. DOING the Happy Dance!!

BTW I live in Draper UT. I went to both draper stores and both Eastern Sandy stores. So if you are in UT, I would try other stores. 😉

  40. Hooshruba

Went to PA store found nothing and what ever got the store manager said som body out them in wrong shelf they are not on sale/ 🙁

  41. Melissa

All the stores in my Syracuse, NY, area had nothing marked but everything rang up as mentioned above. So happy! Definitely worth a price check if it doesn’t say it’s on sale
