(Thanks, Allison!)
I spent quite awhile “chatting” online with Target.com because the C9SAVE promo code wasn’t working. The rep told me that the $5/$30 & $10/$50 C9 offers were valid in store only. Then when I pointed out that the coupon clearly states valid at Target.com, the rep told me that the offer was only valid on certain C9 items, found through a link on the front page of the Target website. I couldn’t get the code to apply to ANYTHING, regardless, and somehow now nobody is available to online “chat” about the issue. So, if you’re interested in taking advantage of that offer, you might want to go in to the store because online isn’t working. Unfortunate for me, since my stores have a very limited selection of C9 right now. Just a heads up!
I always find that chatting with them are useless, sometimes they make things up just to get rid of me.
i agree! I once had a Fitbit delivered to me from target. The ups tracking showed delivered though I received nothing (we lived in a locked apt building). I called target and get this…they told me sometimes ups marks items delivered when they really aren’t and you must wait a week before starting a claim! Yes, they really said that! I was furious they wouldn’t take responsibility…I went to me neighbor who had my box. It was a good outcome, but both the customer service rep and the manager told me lies about ups!
That’s actually partially true. Where I live stores sometimes deliver to my local post office and they will deliver my package. Once UPS delivers to the post office, it shows that it was delivered..even though it wasn’t delivered to me. The post office then takes about a week to deliver my package.
That isn’t a lie. I had a package saying it was delivered and it wasn’t, I called UPS and told me to call the Post Office, I called them and they said they’d call me back, got a callback, they found the package and it had been “lost”. They delivered it the next day. It had been over a week, because I wasn’t even thinking about and then I checked tracking.
Do you get the $5 gift card when you pick up the order or do they mail it to you?
Choose gc delivery type at checkout.
Even though it’s not stated the lemon verbena also worked for me online for the $5 card and they are priced at 3.23, even cheaper.
Thanks for the tip. I did that!
Thanks for the tip. Just ordered mine. Love Mrs. Meyer’s and the Lemon Verbena scent.
Thanks for the info on the Lemon Verbena! It’s my favorite. Just placed my order.
Thank you for mentioning this. I ended up doing it too. Thanks again.
Just bought three hand soaps and used a GC from a previous purchase, paid with Red card $4.57 and earned another $5 GC. Yay! Thanks Colin.
I’m seriously loving all the natural product deals from target today!!!
Its not working for me. Keeps saying payment card is invalid. Even after using different ones. Anyone else going thru this?
Happened to me even though card number was correct. Try signing in to your account instead, I did and it allowed the order to go through.
It finally worked for me, thanks! Only thru my cell not the laptop. It kept giving me an error.
This works with handsoaps, too. Just make sure to choose the ones with the $5 gc back. My local store didn’t have bluebell, but I just chose others (clover and lavender). Then I went back and did the deal again for 3 lemon verbena and it makes it to something like $1.18 a dish soap! Makes the pickup more worth my while getting 6 soaps. I love Mrs. Meyers and this is the best deal I’ve seen in a long time for them. Ebates ha 2% cash back and shop at home matches that for 2.2%.
Thanks for the ebates reminder!! I doubled my order too! ๐
I haven’t used this product before. Reading the reviews…lot of people were saying the scent doesn’t comes off. What are your thoughts?
I absolutely love this product. I haven’t tried the hand soaps, but I adore the dish soap, cleaning sprays, and candles. I personally don’t think the scent is to strong, nor have I experienced it lasting to long.
Thanks!! At this price I can sure give it a try.๐
The honeysuckle scent is devine! ๐
Thanks for the feedback. I got one to try.
Can’t get to the checkout page. What do you put into the e card info? Your own information so you send it to yourself? Please help.
If you want the e-gift card delivered to you then put in your own e-mail address. Hope this helps.
I was having a problem checking out and come to find out the system was not letting me choose the same 3 items to checkout (perhaps low in stock but it wasn’t saying anything just taking me to the sign in page around and around) so I selected 2 of one scent and 1 of another and finally it let me check out. Also I did put in my email address and it was accepted. Thanks for the info.
It was doing the same to me and I did what you just mentioned. It kept saying the max to pick up in store was 2.
This deal wasn’t ringing up at our store. They checked the ad and said it was just laundry items. They honored the gift card on our cleaners but then took the signs down.
As someone who washes their hands too many times a day to count … And does so most of the time at the kitchen sink with the “dish soap” in my built-in dispenser, I’m going to pass on this killer deal. I was SO ready to jump on this deal, when I decided to do a little digging. :[I’ve been “trying” to be more aware of the products I’m using.] Turns out Mrs. Meyers (along with Dial, Palmolive, Head & Shoulders, and Body Essence) all had products that tested at the highest levels for the carcinogen 1,4-dioxane. Mrs. Meyers Clean Day Liquid Dish Soap had the highest levels of the carcinogen at an alarming 204 ppm (parts per million), ten times higher than any other product’s current results in the study!!! “The contaminant 1,4-dioxane is a byproduct of the ethoxylation process, which is a cheap shortcut companies often use to provide mildness to harsh cleaning ingredients. 1,4-dioxane is a ‘known to the State of California to cause cancer’ under Proposition 65.” For more information: https://www.organicconsumers.org/press/ocas-new-study-finds-greatly-reduced-carcinogens-personal-care-products
Thank you, this is so disappointing. I bought this but will return it. I really wish companies would stop using these ingredients they know are harmful.
Thank you, MiisNoel! I’m passing on this deal as well.
The study information cited on the organic consumers website is 7 years old and the formulations of Mrs. Meyers has changed since then. This might be a more useful website for more updated information (they scan and test annually) – https://www.ewg.org/guides/brand/6630. We use the ewg app to help guide our decisions on many products. Products are reformulated often, mostly to adhere to newer environmental and health laws and codes, so the Environmental Working Group is a great resource to keep updated on those changes.
Thank you so much for the additional information Katie! ๐ The “original” study was in fact completed 7 Years ago (March ’08), but the link I provided was to an article/posting dated September ’14, and are the results of a “follow-up” study conducted that same year in ’14. It’s this (then current) findings that reflected Mrs. Meyers’ product had the highest levels of 1,4-dioxine and that the research was served to Mrs. Meyers. I tried to find out if Mrs. Meyers responded to the study or if there has been any changes to their formulation since then, but was not successful. The amount of information on the internet is overwhelming … And even when I think I’ve nailed down accurate information, there is always something out there to contradict the findings. So, thank you again for providing another resource. I had a chance to quickly look up Mrs. Meyers Liquid Dish Soap on the website you provided and although the ratings were done prior to ’14 (in ’11 and ’12) it was still rated a C+. It seems Mrs. Meyers is still not as “natural” as they claim to be. (I feel *duped*.) I personally think there are better alternatives out there. My 2ยข. :]
Yikes! Thank you for alerting me to this. I was going to order, but I will definitely pass on it now.
Here is an ***AMAZING*** Blog Site called “I Read Labels For You,” which contains a wealth of information. Here is a post all about 1,4-Dioxane. https://ireadlabelsforyou.com/14-dioxane-in-cosmetics-and-personal-care-and-cleaning-products/
If I order online and pick them up in store can I use my coupons when I pick up my order?
I just put in my order, everything worked. Thank you!!
Does anyone know how long this is valid until. The site is playing up.
Ordered the lemon verbena soap. Perfect timing, just running out!
Thanks, Collin:)
This brand dried & cracked my hands out something terrible. I had only been using the dish soap for a few days when I realized my hands (more my right than left) were getting splotchy after washing. Figured it had to be the soap. I’ve never had an issue with Method or Seventh Generation
