I received the new Walmart beauty box and I was quite impressed. It had a decent disposable razor, 4 good size samples, 2 smaller sample packets, a couple of coupons, and best of all a full size Roc Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum. That retails for $19.97 at my local store. I would say that’s $5 well spent! Thank you for posting about the beauty box!

I think Target beauty boxes are better but the one pictured here looks pretty good!
targets are 100 percent better than walmart. never will buy a walmart again.
My Target Beauty box arrived damaged inside with one of the items leaking all over the box. You couldn’t tell from the outside but when I opened it everything was soaked.
I was not impress with Walmart. Love Target but did pass on the recent beauty box.

Has anyone had experience with their customer service? Back in July I realized that I didn’t update my CC info when my card expired, so I contacted customer service about it. Someone responded and told me to update my info on their site, and I did, but when I emailed the rep back asking when my subscription would be reinstated she did not respond again. I’ve sent another email, but I am really doubtful I will hear back. If the Fall box does not arrive, I will have missed three boxes. Any similar experiences??
It may be easier to deactivate your account, then make a new one with the new info.
I’ve dealt with the customer service multiple times and each time was awful. I was charged for 2 boxes I never received and I couldn’t even get them to give me tracking on the boxes or when they shipped. Most emails went without response. Also, When I called wal-mart they told me this was handled by an outside service.
The site does mention it’s through BrandShare.

Not exactly but I got an email letting me know my card was declined and asking me to update. I did not hear anything after that, so I assume you are only contacted if it’s a problem to bill you.
I was actually charged twice this month, emailed them and they refunded the money right away. Perhaps put Billing in the header. Always put your email, address and phone # in the email as well.
I used to get the walmart beauty box but since I already get ipsy and boxycharm subscriptions, I stopped my walmart one. I like higher end samples. But for $5 this box is worth it.

Been very happy with mine- tip for everyone- if you prefer good skincare and muted makeup shades, enter your birthday to represent something in the range of 40 years plus. There are two boxes sent and the “younger age” box had reviews showing products I wouldn’t have used (more glittery makeup, less skincare items, etc) so I entered a birth year 10 years older than I really am and love the products!

Not a big fan. Nothing full sized. About half were sample packets/cards. Cancelled after two boxes. For $5 I could put together a better collection of samples with coupons/deals at Ulta, CVS, and Target. Not to mention all the freebies already available on the internet. I’ll save my money. But that’s just my opinion.
I have not been impressed with these boxes. In fact, I cancelled the last time they were sent out in June and I was just recently charged again. The account doesn’t even exist anymore and I am still being charged??? Beware!! I have since contacted them and have heard NOTHING from customer support. Not worth it! Stick to the Target beauty boxes.

When you sign up for Walmart’s beauty boxes, they automatically charge you and send you one 4 times a year. Unlike Target’s box that you can order separately if interested. But Target has increased their price from $5 to $7. I wasn’t thrilled with my Walmart summer box and almost canceled. But I’m really pleased with this one and think I’ll keep my subscription. It was definitely worth $5.

I got the “young” version box and the Fall box had no full size item in it, it was filled with free samples and coupons. Which isn’t bad for $5 but not great. The “old” version this season was really good with 1 full size item. Target’s boxes are definitely better, but they’re not a quarterly box. The biggest value for makeup subscription box is Boxycharm, it’s 5 (usually full size) products for $21/month. Normally it’s always full size, sometimes they do travel sizes or mini bottles of perfumes. But the value is always 3X or 4X what you paid for the box. They’ve given out 3 Coastal Scents eye shadow palettes in past months.
What was in the “young” box this season? I got exactly what was pictured super happy about the ROC as I’ve been wanting to try it just didn’t wanna pay 😉 I’ve had these boxes for over a year and only 1 was meh…it’s nice to get stuff in the mail!
My young box is slightly different, since it includes a travel size simple wipes pack and also a mascara – looking tube (my mail is back home and I’m off somewhere else so I made someone take a pic for me). I realized that even those in the same age groups get different stuff, because I’ve seen people in the young group who gets like lipstick and I got gloss instead.

I’ve missed 1 box but i called Customer Service was also having to put in updated credit card info he told me to cancel my subscription and start a new one now everything went thru and my box is on its way.

The Target box is not available now. Colin posts when they become available on Targets website and you have to be quick as they sell out fast. I got the last 2 and loved them. Definitely worth it!

Same here. I got 1.5 oz Aussie mega hairspray, 2 oz Amlactin lotion, 1.8 oz Dove body wash, 1 oz Act mouthwash, .3 oz Aveeno moisturizer, a tiny Neutrogena mascara, and foil packet samples of Crest 3D white, Loreal Revitalift, Loreal Age Perfect, and Jennifer Aniston fragrance. Oh, and a ROC coupon. I wouldn’t have paid $5 for it if I knew in advance what I was getting. Oh well.
Tracey, I got the same thing you did today. I’m wondering if the people that got the full size ROC were previous subscribers. I just subscribed a couple weeks ago, and wonder if the newbies got the left overs? I’ll try one more box and see if it’s any better.
