I had the same question! I have a 6 year old that will be 7 in about 5 months. I don’t want to purchase if he will outgrow it within a year.
The reviews I read stated that 8 year olds could use this but one at a time as the set moves some for them. Most reviewers recommended this set from ages of 2 to 9 with some stating 8 years old. I’m not sure if that info is helpful or not for you ladies. . . .

Any idea how difficult it is to put this together? I bought a set last year from Sears and ended up returning it because it was next to impossible to assemble with the instructions they included.
You will probably need 2 days to assemble. I’ve read reviews that it moves for older children when they are swinging (8 year olds).
Don’t buy this! We bought one this spring and it came with multiple defects, and after a couple of months was seeming like it was becoming a danger to swing on. The website deleted our negative review within 24 hours after it was posted after we purchased it. It is not worth the money!

My neighbor has this and loves it. We have 6 kids under 6 on it all the time. It took a couple of weeks to put up, an hour here, an hour here, but It’s worth it. No problems.
