(Thanks, Candace!)
Awesome quality,i’ve purchased three of these jackets over the years😀
I think they run a little big. My son turns 3 this weekend and i bought a size 3 in this jacket last year on clearance and it is big on him so it will probably be for next winter or the later part of this winter. However I would not have purchased a size 2 since he had a 2T coat from kohls already he wore last winter. He is still wearing it so far.
Do you know if they happen to run big?
My daughter wore this one at around 24 mo but I don’t recall what clothing sz she was in at the time. She is now just moving up to a sz 5 in clothing (for arm & leg length – otherwise she’s thin) & size 5 is sold out in both colors.
I would buy her usual size. That being said my daughter wore her size 5 last winter when she was 4.5 and it still fits her this winter just fine. You could order a 4 and then return.
Sorry I just looked and what I bought her was a size 5/6 from bigger kids. Luckily they have those on clearance too for $48.29 so $24.15 after discount applied! I am going to order her a 7/8 for next year.
Thanks! I ended up ordering both the 4 & the 5/6. If the 5/6 isn’t huge on her, I’ll have her wear that, hoping to get 2 winters out of it.
I think they run a little big, but my daughter usually wears just the coat without the jacket lining, so that’s probably why. She’s starting to wear 10-12 shirts, but her 7-8 coat still fits just fine. I wish they had bigger sizes in stock because I would get one for next year.
Our family no longer buys any of the 3-1 coats of any brand. My kids could not stand the liner bunching up/sliding around(even though all snaps are in place). I just don’t have time to readjust liners, in the arm area particularly, everytime they want to wear a coat! We picked up some of the Macys hot deals on coats before Christmas and the Expedition Parkas from Lands End that are unbeatable in comfort/warmth.
I had got a 25% off code from Paypal on Thursday (1/14) and it said it was good until 1/20. I was able to use it with my purchase as well. The email heading said “Enjoy 25% off at The Children’s Place”. I thought that I would mention it because others might have it as well.
Thank you! I was wondering if the PayPal code would work with this deal!
I received it too! !
I bought three of these last year with two being in toddler sizing (2T and 5) and another in big kid sizing. They have all washed and worn great. Kids have used each component separately and together.
I can only find that clearance is 40% off, but if you use the 25% off savings pass with code SNOW25, it brings the price down to $18.58! These are great jackets and the toddler girl heart print is so cute! Thank you!
Hi Kendra, they must have changed the promo in the middle of the night. Thanks for the heads up – just updated the post.
I bought last year 4 of these jackets for $3 each
Yeah, me too. They always drop the price on these more and more as it gets closer to spring. Of course, the longer you wait the bigger chance you run of the sizes you need being sold out. 🙂
Hi Tanya- did you get them for $3 in store or online? Just wondering where I should be checking.
In store
Yesterday, I got an email from paypay with an exclusive 25% off code inside for Children’s Place if you use paypal. It might be worth checking to see if you have it.
Oh my gosh…thank you so much…just got my grandson a bunch of stuff!
You are SO welcome! 🙂
i never received a paypal code bummer! awesome for you all though 🙂 good pairing!!
There’s a code you can pair with this deal to get an additional 25% off. Use code SNOW25 to get 25% off and free shipping. It’s listed right on their website. 🙂
I got an email yesterday saying extra 50% off of clearance but it was for yesterday (1/14) only. I got another email today saying extra 40% off of clearance (automatically applied-no code needed) then take yet another 25% off with code SNOW25. So $24.77 for these jackets before code and then $18.58 after code. Not a bad price at all. These do run a little large
Thanks for the helpful info, Heather! I just got this added to the post. 🙂
Collin — You can take an addition 25% off with the snow25 code! Just worked for me! It ended up being $18.58!
Thank YOU! 🙂 I just added the code to the post.
I’ve been buying these for years, but I think the quality had really declined. Zipper issues two years in a row 😏. Still a good deal, might just snag it anyway!
*has declined, not had declined.
Darn. Act fast if you are hoping to grab a 3-1 coat. The color and sizes I wanted are already gone.
Does anyone know where I can find toddler snow pants? The only place I’ve found them was at gander but they were way too expensive. Tia!
Old navy.com <$20
I’ve found them at Target as well.
I got some from kmart for $10 and sears for $16 and I’m happy with the quality.
Yes, Kmart! Very happy with them. Have bought 6 pairs from there over the past few years. Hold up nicely!
Can’t believe I’m saying this but Walmart! just got a pair at our store marked down to $13 (reg $17) and the knees are reinforced with nice material.
I bought this jacket and the zipper broke after less than one winter. Really low quality 🙁
I will never buy another one of these jackets. The inner jacket isn’t strapped really good, esp at the arms, so whenever my son would pull out his arms, they would separate, ugh, nope, don’t like it! If you don’t mind dealing with that issue, the jacket itself was fine. It ran a bit big too.
