  no, regular Wii games can be played in the Wii U console, but not vice versa

   Does this come with the WII U console or do you have to buy this separately? I have a WII but a little confused on the Wii U.

  the Wii U is the newest console. Definitely does not come with this. On it’s own, it runs $250-$300. This will not work with the regular Wii.
  Regular Wii games can be played in the Wii U console, but not vice versa
