Order a size up! Just bought a bridesmaid dress last year from David’s Bridal and the consultant said to take our pant size and go up one size. It was accurate for all five of us!
Formal wear always runs small, if you’re pretty similarly proportioned in bust and hips that jeans+1 approach is the go-to. If your chest is considerably larger going up an additional size or two and having the waist/hips tailored may be necessary.
Yes, always get the size that fits the largest measurement of your body, then have it tailored.
Yeah, I have a large bust and have to order based on that and then take it in myself. Jean size definitely does not apply for me!

These are so stinkin’ cute but I HATE buying things if I haven’t tried them on you’re not able to return to a store………I’m going to have to pass this one up because I don’t have anything specific to wear it for. But for those of you looking, as somebody else mentioned, there are some other super cute ones one too for $19.99. And you can go to the David’s Bridal web-site and look up final sale and there are even a TON more and free shipping on $99 or more. But, returns have to be shipped back. And I’m not sure if the final sale items can even be returned.
