FYI I tried to get that magazine rebate many many times and it never comes through. Would love to hear if anyone actually received the rebate before factoring it into the final cost.

I’ve done it a few times and have gotten the rebate. it was for elle and i think marie claire. twice i didn’t get the rebate although i sent it in and they sent me the magazine instead. this was through a similar promotion that forever21 had.
Forever 21 NEVER sends rebates back- I have also had issues with them 🙁

I’ve gotten screwed on this before. You have to meet the $25 threshhold for this to work. Last time I tried it, part of my order was magically backordered – so my confirmed total was less than $25, try as I might, I could not get the rebate 🙁
Same thing happened to me. I think they purposely backorder items for this very reason.

Does ELF have a nice neutral color (non shiny) eye shadow that someone could suggest. I just need something for everyday, and I don’t really need a whole palette, just one color. A palette would be okay if it was all colors i would use, but it seems they always add a really dark color that wouldn’t really be “everyday wear” for me.

I just wanted to give you all a “heads up” in case you do not receive the rebate. I had problems trying to click the rebate form when I placed my order on 3/24 and never did get to the rebate form. I did see that the subscription was in my cart, but when I got my order confirmation via e-mail, nothing about the magazine was on the confirmation form. I called their customer service # today (212-239-1530, which is actually their corporate office), and when I started talking about the magazine rebate form, she very politely interrupted me and said that their system had been hacked and it was not a valid offer and as soon as they realized it, they took the information off their website. So, supposedly rebates will not be forthcoming.
So, I finally got my products today and decided to look for the mailing address and the form and came across all this craziness about it being nothing but lies.
I know it had been quite a long time but did anybody got the form actually downloaded?

I just found out that I am not eligible for the rebate because my order was EXACTLY $25 and according to the rebate terms it needed to be over $25. They didn’t even have the decency to send me a letter of denial. Is there any one I can speak to? Can I complain to the Better Business Bureau or the Department of Consumer Affairs for misleading advertising?
