This looks interesting! I have heard great reviews! Anyone in the Hip2Save world using it?

    • Elisa

I usually order mine in November. I like to get use out of it the whole year. Great quality and the guts/insides are great. I like using markers, stickers, and washi tape to make it pretty inside.

I think if you order one today you’re getting Jan 2016-Dec 2016.

    • Ana

I used one in college but grew out of it. Some of their designs on the inside and outside are a little too juvenile for my career now so I would be a little embarrassed to show up to a meeting with them. But I think they’re great for high school/college students!

    • Bianca

Yes, these are great planners but your going to miss about 4 months of it since its from the 2016 year only.

Still better than paying full price… if you don’t mind missing a few months.

    • Alicia D

      I used yours.

        Thank you so much! ๐Ÿ™‚

Erin Chondren has amazing products! I am starting my first teaching job in the fall and she has great teacher planners. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone would use my referral and save themselves $10. Thank you! https://www.erincondren.com/referral/invite/kaitlyncrane0407

I used to like the planners but this company has the worst customer service. The are known for sending out wrong orders, sending orders to the wrong person and getting orders wrong sometimes even 3 or 4 times. When asked for a correction they’ll offer a $10 credit. For a company that sells planners they’re very disorganized. There’s even a bunch of Facebook pages dedicated to how many problems you have when dealing with this company. My first order with them wasn’t correct and I would be very buyer beware.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer! Sorry to hear your order was incorrect! And thanks for the honest feedback on reviews. ๐Ÿ™

I do think having a physical planner is a great money saving idea. We were buying a house last year and this year I’m staying home to finish school so we’ve cut out budget way back and having everything planned out especially meals has saved us a ton by not eating out. I also write all our bills and having a visual daily/weekly/monthly reminders has been great to stay on track.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Glad that having a planner has been so helpful with budgeting! Thanks for sharing!

Papersource (dot) com has some 2016 planners for 75% off right now. They are cute and unique. You can sign up and get 10% off.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Cool! Thanks for the heads up!

I’ve always wanted one of her planners but I’m ocd about having one from Jan 1. I have a gorgeous Lilly Pulitzer one now but hopefully if a similar deal comes along for next year I’m definitely getting it.

Thought these were great until I saw Corie Clark’s Purposeful Planners! So sophisticated and classy!

    • Rachel

They are beautiful but they are also all sold out! I’ll have to remember the webpage for my next planner.

      • M

Preorders begin within the next few weeks! Keep an eye out! Hoping k can snag one.

  7. Faith

I’m kind of excited – I’ve been thinking I should get a planner and use one by hand like I used to for a while now so I bit the bullet and ordered. I used one of the above links if someone would like to pass on the favor ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi y’all I was about to purchase this last night but then I saw the planners were also sold in select staples. I went this morning and they had a bunch on clearance. I snagged one for just over $24 using a $5 off a $25 purchase text JOIN to 555444. Good luck, and not all Staples carry her products.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great find Melissa! Thanks for sharing!

I LOVE these calendars! I bought the additional year when I bought mine and it was great not having to reorder but it is VERY heavy. I took out last year on New Years this year. I use erasable pens by Pilor called FriXion.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear how much you like them! Thanks for the helpful feedback!

  10. Kate

Just FYI, the new ones come out in June. You will be able to get more use out of them but they won’t be on sale (12 or 18 full months rather than the 7 left in these)

  11. Crystal

I’ve been using the Erin Condren planner for 4 years now and I love it! It’s the only planner I’ve bought that i have actually used! This price is a great way to check it out if you are not sure you will love it or if you are unsure about spending $50 on a planner (the regular price). I can tell you that once the 2016-17 planners launch in June, the new ones will not go on sale until they start clearancing them out in spring 2017. If you’d like to check it out and want to sign up for her newsletter, I would appreciate it if you would use my link – you will get a $10 coupon, which can be stacked with this promotion! If anyone has any questions about the planners I’d be happy to answer them! https://www.erincondren.com/referral/invite/crystalbeck

    • Melissa L.

Crystal, I used your link for the $10 coupon.

I actually had won a $25 gift card for Erin Condren about 2 years ago, but couldn’t convince myself to spend the $25 total that would be leftover after the gift card to try out these planners. I was hoping for a big sale, or to win another gift card. But I just ended up forgetting about it. So with this sale, the gift card, and the $10 off coupon I was able to score one to try for free! I can’t wait to see what it looks like. Thank you so much for posting about the sale, and for those sharing their links for $10 off coupons!

      • Crystal

Thank you so much! I buy the full priced ones every year so the referral credit really helps me out! I hope you like it!

  12. Mary

I’m new to using this planner (purchased my first one today) and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations of where to get stickers that you don’t have to cut out yourself that’s not from the Erin Condren website.

Does anyone have a place they like to get them from, an etsy shop, or maybe you make and sell them? I know you can print them off yourself and cut them out, but I know me and I would only do it a few times. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

    • Crystal

There are TONS of Etsy shops but sometimes it’s hard to tell which ones are reputable and have good quality. My personal favorite is Libbie & Co. I also regularly order from Lexie Kylee Designs, Little Planner Prints, and Peanut Butter Taco. If you follow a shop on Instagram they often have discount codes and you will see codes for sales.

    • Sarah C

Yes Instagram is the place! Craftymama is the BEST! I also like Red label designs (they offer grab bags so you can get a good sampling). For Disney inspired ones I use PlanwithPizazz and Little Picoe Paperie. I also like HurricaneRandi.
I’m hoping peanut butter taco will offer a good discount soon I’ve been dying to try hers!

      • Mary

Thank you both for your tips and the info. I’m going to get on it and start gathering supplies as I can. I appreciate you sharing your ideas.
