Does anyone know whether these dishes are heavy or on the light-weight side? As I’m getting older my Pfaltzgraff dishes are so hard to lift into the cabinets I’d like to invest in something on the lighter side. Thank you for any help.
They are not heavy, but they are microwave proof. Be aware may come broken, but if they come broken call customer service and they will ship you new ones without having to sending them the broken ones. And if you are lucky you may rescue some extra ones from the damage box. It happens to me. Hope this helps

I did the same thing. Although my other plates have not arrived yet, I already want to change to these plates. I need to convince myself my plates are better than these lol
TingTing, I returned the other set of dishes to the store, hoping to order one of the Cressida sets instead. They were for my newly hired Nurse daughter’s gift, but my reluctance to order first made me miss them! So sad, I hope you kept yours!

I have two sets of the Hampton square plates.They are fantastic! The newer set, is thicker than the original ones, but the quality is still phenomenal. I’d buy these over and over again, and you can’t beat the classic white style.

Got mine and really pleased with them. Three items were broken. I contacted Macy’s and because they are all sold out and they couldn’t send me some replacement plates, they refunded my charge. Thanks for the free dishes set!
