  I know what you mean. Do you know if I added something else just to get the free shipping and then I ended up returning it, would it void my coupon codes?

  It does it by a %. Like, if all the items fall under the mothers day code, then it applies a certain % of that $10 to all items purchased. So you wouldn’t lose the 20%, but depending on your filler you may lose some of the $10.

  I’ve done that before, and it doesn’t affect anything with coupons. The only thing it might do is void your Kohl’s cash.

  Just call and ask to waive shipping they do it most of the time or go in store at kiosk to get free shipping

  You will loose part of the $10 because the $10 gets splitted in your transaction thru the items … Buy something that doesn’t qualify for the coupon and return that item so it won’t take off from the $10

  Laura call them and be like you want to “cancel” your order since shipping was way to high… Before they start to cancel ask them is there anything they can do about the shipping charge and they might refund it

  Thanks for all the suggestions. Just called and I talked to a really nice customer service lady. Unfortunately she said she can only modify or cancel the order up to 30 min after the order is placed. She said she would have done the free shipping for me too. :*(

  I think she means that you buy a gift card for however mich it takes to get you to the $75 (?) minimum order for free shipping…I dont think it can be any value gift card.

   my husband just went to Kohl’s last night and purchased a bunch of work clothes, and probably spent about $90. now today we saw the 20%-off Friends & Family deal. has anyone had luck returning their purchases and then re-purchasing with a discount offer? or trying to get the offer applied to their purchase the next day and getting their total adjusted?
   this offer says it’s not good on adjustments to prior purchases, but i am wondering if anyone has any experience with this? so frustrating!

  I did the same thing! I did the online chat but did not have the receipt with me to tell them the specific amount. But I’m sure they would. I’m going to try again when I get home.

  I think Kohls has a 14 day price guarantee… I’ll see if I can find the link on their website. I think you’ll have to go into the store, but you shouldnt have to bring all your items. Just your receipt. They will basically return everything and rebuy with the new coupon. So, remember that you’ll get todays prices with today’s coupon… not yesterdays prices with today’s coupon (just something to look at.)

  I have done it before , store manager said it’s absolutely fine to return and repurchase again.u just have to make sure the prices are the same and not more than what you bought yesterday.

  thank you to those who responded. for future reference to others who find themselves in this same situation: my husband took his receipt to the customer service desk at the store, and had the 20% off email to show. the employee was helpful and nice, and credited him the price difference back to our credit card. he didn’t bring the items back, or have to return each thing then re-ring it.
  she may have done this at her discretion, since the Friends & Family email did say it isn’t good for previous purchases, but it worked out for us!

   Kohls online chat is the worst do not waste your time there whatever you do. They will tell you to call or go into the store.
