99¢ Only Store: One Reader’s Haul of Ritz Crackers, Hostess Products & More
Live near a 99¢ Only store? Check out this email & pic from reader, Rich!
I just wanted to share my 99¢ Only Store finds from today. I spent about $12 total and snagged Ritz crackers, Hostess products, Goldfish crackers and Keebler sandwich crackers! Items will vary among locations and stores.
In the past, I’ve found family size packs of cereal, yogurt, Oscar Mayer deli meats etc. and I’ve seen brand name food, toys, and partyware products for children like Marvel, Ninja Turtle or Minions. I’ve even heard about pillow pets and As Seen on TV items being sold.
Uh oh! I see Hostess coffee cakes! I love those things! We also love those Keebler peanut butter sandwich crackers!
What awesome deals for only 99 cents!! I’m going to check out ours tomorrow and see what I can find. Thanks!
You’re welcome!
my 99 cents had last friday lunchables, rasberry tea (full size), oscar mayer turkey(big one), protein pack (2 for 99), danimals, …..
Which 99 store did u find those at?
southcali
Darn im in south cali too but mine doesn’t have any good items
I was able to score the Hostess products on Friday! Today, my location had boxes of cinnamon Teddy Grahams!
Sweet! Thanks for sharing!
My .99 cents here in California is a hit or miss sometimes I find great deals such as protein packs 3/99 cents belvita breakfast cookies granola and nestle coffee creamer
I want that store in my town!!!
Not me! I’d gain ten pounds! 😉
We don’t have these kinds of 99 cent stores in NY ! 🙁
Bummer. I went on their site and it looks nice.
Wow.
Last time I was in there I got a full size package of Oreo Thins! One of my favorite things to get there is pure vanilla extract and pure almond extract!
How cool! Great finds!
The real secret to getting the best deals at 99 Cent only stores is to ask what their delivery days are. The hot items like these are usually gone within hours of delivery. I live in Los Angeles County and our delivery days are Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Saturday is the day Oscar Meyer and Kraft is delivered. I am often able to get everything I need for sandwiches and lunch snacks on my Saturday morning trips including Natures Harvest bread. I stock up when I see items I can store or freeze. It saves me a lot of money with 4 teenage boys at home.
This is very true. I actually submitted the above photos and I live in the Central Valley in California. I was told Tuesday, Thursday, Saturdays are shipment days for the stores around here for “dry goods” I believe, and the other days are when fridge items gets stocked. Like the other day I snagged a bunch of Pillsbury tubes for breadsticks, biscuits, and french bread as well as a 20 pack of Oscar Mayer Velveeta cheese hotdogs!
It helps that I have friends who work at various locations because they sometimes give a heads up of what’s in stock.
Some items, however, are more than 99¢ or cheaper elsewhere (e.g. jello), but generally most items are still cheaper than the regular price at stores e.g. Oreos as someone else mentioned, CapriSun large pouches, Boxtrolls FUNKO pops, large bags of name brand candies, family packs of Yoplait yogurt, and Annie or Farm Rich brand food.
My advice is to also check expiration dates of perishables as well.
Central Valley as in Fresno? I’ve only been in the 99 cent store a couple of times. I’ll need to check it out more often!
I’m Cen Cal too!! I never see things like this. I was just there 2 days ago 🙁 Maybe try on Thursday?
Thanks for such helpful feedback! Good to know!
Love this store, it’s part of my weekly shopping trip. Difinitely a hit or miss store, i’ve found sara lee bread and bagels. Gogurts 16ct, yoplait greek yogurt 32oz, mountain high yogurt 32 oz., beef jerky. Great deals on produce too, 3pks of Romaine lettuce, portabella mushrooms, strawberries, asparagus. It’s kind of like a treasure hunt.
I actually love the produce…I just got 2 giant heads of cauliflower and all the fixings for cauliflower soup for under $5 bucks. My kids go through 5 lbs of Persian cucumbers a week (sometimes more). The “junk” food is tempting though…sometimes I splurge (: and get it and my kids think I am awesome!
I agree with Tia and asked about my store’s delivery days. You can find very healthy deals too, like gluten-free foods, large-size cottage cheese and name brand yogurt, both non-fat I’ve found. There’s always an abundance of high-fat, high-sugar, processed snack foods like donuts and cakes at mine, if you like that sort of thing, or have kids, lol. I’ve found flax seed and other health foods there, but I also agree it can be hit or miss so you need to have some patience!
My store has Disney brand Sofia the first play dresses for $4.99 !! Freaking love that place.
Whattttttt thought you knew about 99 cent only?!? I always score there. Odwalla drinks, organic lettuce/spinach mix, fruit in small sizes perfect for school lunch. They sell good make up remover wipes too! Tube socks! 2 pack for $1.99 Hanes quality.
Last week I got big bottles of gold peak tea, pints of heirloom tomatoes & boxes of quaker oatmeal.
Wish there was a 99 cent store in NC
I just bought five 12 oz McDonald’s McCafe espresso roast at 99 cents only store. I thought maybe I should try them and if I don’t like them I can just donate them. Good thing I gave it a go because they are so good. They were a steal because it’s original price at Walmart is $5.99/ea.
There were also full size kashi heart to heart cereal, belvita soft baked cookies, Oreo, Keebler, variety of Sara Lee bread, variety of oroweat bread, nature’s harvest etc
Same here…i live in southern cali and delivery days are mon, wed, sat. There’s always something good. Usually things never get stocked bc ppl are lined up to grab as soon as they’re out from the stocking room
Yes, you get some serious shoppers who surround the poor stock person for the items. Items go very fast. They say best time is in morning which I can’t seem to do. Last week I found one lonely bag of McDonald’s McCafe expresso coffee for 99 cents. It’s definitely hit or miss.
