We bought an older version when my 2.5 year old was 18 months. He LOVES it. Had to start adding time limits with parental controls. I would buy this time and time again. It has been a lifesaver on vacations and for my sleep!
Yes! It’s indestructible! My 5yo got one at 2 years, and his younger brother has one now too. You can share the apps across the devices too (and with leap tv), so that’s really nice!
My son broke his, but leapfrog has excellent customer service and sent another one right out.
Do they have a lifetime warranty. My daughter’s screen is giving me problems?

This is an amazing deal!!! My almost 2 yr old loves it-it comes with a ton of preloaded games, movie, learning activities. I paid full price for it, and even then it was totally worth it. It has also been dropped and has never had issues. It’s great for car rides and dr visits etc. I even play the games sometimes 😂
I bought this for my 2 yr old son last Christmas (for $110 @Target) and it is still going strong after constant drops and daily play! We both love to play the free games downloaded from Amazon Underground App. Great buy and highly recommended.
My kids are 8 and 6 and love all their leapfrogs.
We got these last year and my kids LOVE them – they function like a real Android tablet, but with kid features. You can download games from the Amazon App Store, which is neat, too. But all LeapFrog Apps are available, too.
With that said, I have the older Leappads and my kids also still play with those – can’t go wrong with LeapFrog products!
I love it too because my kids can do their school programs on it, too – they do reading apps like RazKids and others that their teachers use in the classroom. It has a lot of functionality to it.

Do you need wifi for this?
To set it up and download apps. But once it’s set up they can use without wifi. My kids love using it during car rides.

Can this tablet download like free apps from an app store when connected to wi-fi? I keep looking at leap frog tablets but I woild like one where you dont HAVE to pay for every app.
Yes, download Amazon Underground App (free) and from there you can search for free games and apps to load onto the tablet. The majority of my kids’ games are free and are entertaining. If the child loses interest, you can easily delete any app under parental control and add new ones! My son’s favorite game right now is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out of the Shadow App and the graphics are amazing on the Leapfrog Epic
