I bought this one on a prior deal but just wished it had a warm setting. The low is still ready hot if you’re serving directly from the crock.
Thanks for the honest feedback! Good to know the low setting is still rather hot!
Thanks Collin! Purchased for my father who’s always griping that his full size crock pot is too big for just him. Love Hip2Save!! :*
Super cool you could snag this one for him! YW!
Bought this last time and actually used it just last night for chili! It’s the perfect size for a couple with just a little left over and so much easier to wash! Buying one for my mom this time thanks a whole bunch!
Thanks for the great feedback! Happy to hear how much you have liked this one!
hmm I’m thinking this would be 2 small for me. i seem to find that in my 3-4 quart crockpot even that is too small. i read the reviews and they said this was best for dips etc and was similar to 1.5 quart.
Yes definitely best for dips. I have a 6 quart and it works for our family, and we definitely have leftovers. Costco sometimes has the 6 quart with the 2 quart crockpot for $30. Look for their sales each month.
Grabbed two, now I can make my little brothers (who both just got their first bachelor pads) useful easter “baskets”. Thanks for the deals! 🙂
What a sweet idea! You’re very welcome! 🙂
I got one…always needing extras at Thanksgiving so this was a perfect price to snag one. Thanks Collin!
You’re very welcome Jen!
Whoo-hoo! I just grabbed one of these. It’s the perfect smaller size for my work desk. Thanks Collin!!
YW!
Thanks so much! I picked me one up today!
Happy you could score one! You’re very welcome!
You can actually cook a 3 pound roast – IF you cut it up in smaller pieces first. I’ve done it. BUT, if you’re looking at making a small pot of baked beans – you’ll DEFINITELY want to stir periodically – these(as well as others) DO have hot spots and tend to burn in the corner areas – where the side meets the bottom – it just depends on what you’re cooking in them. And the above person, somewhere up there, is correct – it’s hot, it actually boils on the low setting. What I have done with ALL of mine – is, I cover them with a heavy towel – speeds up cooking due to the insulating factor PLUS you’ll end up with MORE moisture in your food item AND you can save a few on your electric bill. Incidentally, this little puppy draws ONLY 100 Watts. I believe the 3 qt may take 190 watts. As the size goes up, so does the wattage.
Thanks so much for the helpful feedback and tips! Good to know!
