ULTA Beauty To Sell M.A.C Cosmetics in 2017
Have you heard the news? 💄
If you’re a fan of M.A.C Cosmetics, you may be happy to hear that ULTA Beauty Salons will start carrying this popular brand in 2017! The items will be available for browsing online and wish-list shopping starting April 23rd and you’ll be able to check out on Ulta.com on May 7th. The in-store launching will begin on June 4th and 100 select locations will be phased in through the end of 2017.
Yay
I wonder if we will be able to use their store coupons with MAC products? Any information?
Store coupons usually exclude Prestige brands and MAC is considered Prestige. That being said, a few times a year they have 20% off coupons with out that exclusion. Hope this helps.
Thanks Shannon I don’t shop at Ulta a lot so thankful for the info π
I really hope this doesn’t change their Ultamate Rewards program.
To bad the test on animals.
They do!?! π Ugh! I wish they would change their practices. Thanks for the info.
According to the MAC website – THEY do not test on animals…
China tests their make up on animals, but that’s not in MAC’s control…

Why would adding MAC to their stores change their Ultimate Rewards???
The cost. Last year they upped the Platinum requirement by $50 so now you have to spend $450 to become Platinum. Their regular coupons also changed. They used to be $3.50 off of a $10 purchase, now the minimum purchase has to be $15.
I used to love this brand until I found out they test on animals. π
Darn. I hate Ulta (their associates constantly follow you around the store trying to “help”—–everyone I’ve mentioned this to says the same, how it annoys them)—–yet I love MAC. It isn’t as bad as MAC stores though where they won’t even attempt to help you unless you look pretty and rich. At least I have a CCO about 10 minutes away.
MAC stores do not have a good rep but at Ulta that has not been my experience at all. I don’t get harassed.
Opposite problem at mine. I can’t find anyone to help!
I agree they don’t bother me, I always go to the front and ask the cashier if I have a question about something
I love my local Ulta store. It’s 5 min away, the associates are very helpful, and don’t stalk you. They know a lot of customers go in to ‘play’ with the make up and different looks. They’ve gone above and beyond a few times, without me even asking them, by calling a different store for an item and demonstrating a hair product on me. Very excited they will now be carrying MAC. I wonder, however, it this means they will be discontinuing another brand or cut down on the number of products sold by different brands?
