Will there be a T-Mobile Tuesday post?
I have a Xbox membership I can share with someone who wants it.
How long is it?
June,
It’s a one month XBox game pass.
I will take it if you still have it please. Nancygj43@gmail.com thanks!
Nancy, sending now from my e-mail. Enjoy!
I don’t think you can say that when you pay with a gift card you purchased that this is “free” though I agree it is a good way to use the paid card. Just might be a bit misleading to newer couponers. Thanks for the great matchup ideas! We are very loyal to Papa John’s because I can always work a great deal there!
I see what you mean. I think you are right. The deal only works as posted if a person does BOTH transactions. If someone does only one transaction or the other, then the deal does not work. Therefore, the post should state “final cost for both transactions: $25 in exchange for 4 pizzas and $8 gift card balance.”
Totally agree.
This looks like a great deal! I wish i had someone to share all that pizza with!
Corla Sosa I was thinking the same thing, “if only I needed that much pizza for some reason”.
I take advantage of deals like this and freeze the extra pizza. I wrap in foil and put in individual freezer bags – they warm up perfectly in the oven!
I could be wrong but so long as you hit the $15 mark you don’t need to get so many pizzas plus you should be able to save the free pizza codes for another time?
Yes thats my plan 🙂
Meanwhile… Fandango is giving 10% off on 50+ gift cards… CODE: DADS2017
Darn! That code is not valid for me 🙁
Could you buy 1 extra large cheese pizza ($8.50), 1 large cheese pizza (free), and 1 order of wings ($7.00) instead of 3 pizzas?
Total $15.50
Wow, $8.50 for an extra large cheese pizza~ Menu price here is $14.99. My favorite PapaJohn deal is a large 1 topping for $4.99 on Tuesday when I order online and use code TUE499. (My understanding that this code
does not work everywhere, however) And better yet, you can get a different topping on each side of the pizza and not be charged for an extra topping like most pizza places. We get 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 mushroom and still pay $4.99, plus tax.
Are you saying that you MUST immediately redeem the 25 pts. from using the Batter Up code, and can
not log them into your account for a later date?
you can put the points in your account for later…but they will expire…. Papa Johns website says “You must redeem your bonus points by 7/9/17.
Unused bonus points will expire.”
So $25 for 4 pizzas and $8 balance…
I might actually buy this and freeze the pizzas! It’s just me and hubby now, and he’s away on a business trip!
I buy frozen pizzas at the grocery store for quick last minute meals – this would be much better 🙂
Tricia you can definitely save the extra pizzas for another time. So do the spend $15 to earn the free pizza, buy the card to earn the free pizza, but just spend $15 in pizza and/or breadsticks, cookie etc. Then you don’t have to freeze quite as much pizza, etc. Good luck!
I freeze Papa’s pizza all the time. I buy these deals and pack the pizza two pieces to a foil wrap and put them in a ziplock bag. I don’t write what’s on them so hubby has learned that it’s a tossup on what he will get for lunch the day he packs it, lol. It’s great for small families to do this because it’s a quick meal when needed and of course it’s so much cheaper to buy it on the deals.
Forgot to say, when frozen I take it out of the foil and put it onto a plate. Then in the microwave on reheat for a couple of minutes. Then check it and back in for a couple more until it’s hot. Don’t cook it or defrost it, reheat helps to retain the moisture.
You might want to try reheating it differently for a better result… either on the stove top with a heavy skillet (put a lid on it and heat it slowly) or in a toaster oven or regular oven. I prefer the stove top unless I’m heating the oven anyway.
Yeah pizza in the microwave … not too good.
Depends on your microwave and whether you do it right. Reheating in the microwave doesn’t cook the pizza. Just open the microwave to rest it and move around on the plate, then resume reheat. From frozen it can’t overcook this way and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Instead of 2 large 1-topping pizzas, you could get 1 extra large cheese pizza and 1 large 1-topping pizza to get to $31.50 for your subtotal ($15.75 with using the code PAPA–where I live, with tax it ends up being 16.70.)
That is enough pizza for my family for one night with some leftover for the next day, and I would save the code from buying the e-gift card as well as the code for spending $15 for another night.
Also, if you live in an area where you can use a code when a baseball team does well, you can get 50% off your whole regular price order, including sides/desserts — BUT I checked and I can’t use my baseball code with the BATTERUP code. PAPA and BATTERUP work together, but not the ORIOLES5 and the BATTERUP code.
Cool deal! Thanks for sharing Megan!
I banked the pizza code for another night. I got two small pepperoni pizzas ($7.99 each -50%) and a med all meat pizza, which was $13.50 – 50%=$6.75 then paid the $2 to large it (was cheaper that way than to just get a large at 50% off.) Paid $16.75, and I still have $8 on my card and two free pizzas to come. Thanks so much for this! I really didn’t want to cook today. 🙂
You’re welcome Candace!
