I have heard of these lamps and would love some feedback from others on them. Especially in the north during longer winter months, I can see this being useful.
I hear ya! Living in Michigan – it’s so hard to get out of bed now ๐ฉ
I have had one for 3 years and LOVE it. I usually wake up to the light about 15 minutes before the alarm goes off. You can set the alarm to music or bird sounds or the radio, but I use the music. Bought one for everyone in my family. I live in VA and it really does help in the winter. This is a great deal! Too bad I don’t need any more!
Great! Thanks for the feedback
I have had one for about 2 years now and love it! It does take some time to get used to how to program it and how to turn the alarms off
Thanks so much for sharing your experience Deb! Happy to hear how much you have liked yours!
Does it come on gradually or all at once? If gradually – how long does it take to come on fully?
It comes on gradually. I think you can set it to come for different amounts of time before the alarm, but to be honest it has been so long since I sent mine up I don’t remember. The more expensive one is colored like a sunset. I have the cheaper, original one
I just keep thinking the actual sun can do this, and it’s free. lol But then again, I recently used a white noise machine while camping next to a flowing creek. The machine was set to make the same sound. Nature just wasn’t loud enough by itself.
The sun does do this by itself, but some people need to get up while it’s still dark outside, and this might help them feel more awake and ready to start the day.
