Remember the Chickdowntown.com FREE $25 Gift card offer I posted?!?
If not, then go on over here to read all about it. I emailed them since I still haven’t received my free gift card as of yet… and I’m sure most of you haven’t either. Well, I received a response and thought you all may be interested in hearing what they said:
Over 7,000 people have replied to the promotion. We can upload the list all at once, but issuing the gift cards has to be done individually. As you can imagine, this has been a tedious process. I promise your gift card is on the way! Thanks for signing up!

Still waiting for my giftcard too. I see they don’t have any problems hammering my junk email account with at least 2 messages a day since I signed up.

I doubt it’s possible to find anything there for $10. But a good deal for those into designer clothes, so thanks for posting!

I got my gift card but couldn’t find anything I wanted….or could afford. If anyone wants mine they can e-mail me.
I am sooo sorry that this has been taking so long! Like you said, $15 is applied to all “store credits” not “gift cards”. We have been working with our web developer to try and distinguish the two. Prior to this promotion we typically do not issue a ton of gift cards. Instead of issuing a separate “gift card code” we are going to issue a “discount code”. That way the automatic $15 shipping charge will not apply. The email blast will go out tonight. Again, I sincerely apologize for this long overdue rebate, but you will have it by today! Got my gift card in a eblast today!
I just got the email but the cheapest thing I see is a $40 kid like coin bag
I’m waiting on my gift card too…but sometimes these things take a while. This happened to another store that I signed up for. I actually just ordered something from Chick on Saturday (and used a gift card), and got it yesterday, really quick shipping. Even tho I had to pay $15 for shipping, the gift card was free. So it was totally worth it.

$14.10! It’s only in a small, but if it can fit you it’s free. It’s white ad simple but nice as a shell under another shirt.
I tried to buy something and it says that my email address is not vailid although it’s the email address they sent the Eblast to. I think this is a scam
It worked for me! Some of the items weren’t available that were on sale. And I did notice that they increased some of the sale prices since the “eblast.” (I had been checking out the site regularly, in anticipation!) I did have to register my email again, even though that is where they sent the gift code to. But I recieved a confirmation code for my order, so it seems legit!

They have raised their prices… I don’t think I’ll be using my gift card. Let me know if you all find anything worth buying.
Well, I was able to scoop up one of the tanks while the prices were still down so my total came to five dollars. I am holding my breath now to see if they cancel my order as it is reading as sold out when I went back to check (and see the new higher price by it!).
That’s really funny they changed the price.. Pretty lame!
I think it is terrible that they raised their prices. I sent an email telling them “thanks but no thanks – take me off your email list”.
Just got my email too, but was disappointed after I read the responses to this post. However, the fine print in the email I got says the gift card is good for one year… so it might be worth checking back once in a while to see if they have any items on sale for $25 or under.
