Old Navy Weekly: Coupons Reset Today!!!
Well, it looks like I haven’t missed the Old Navy coupons resetting! Yesterday We went to the beach with friends and then had a BBQ, so I was off the computer most of the day. It felt great to take a relaxing little break from blogging!
I will be listing the CVS, Rite Aid and Target deals throughout the day, but I did want to make sure I got this Old Navy post up… just in case they decide to reset sooner versus later!
Just keep checking OldNavyWeekly.com whenever you get a chance and of course lets keep each other posted with any info in the comment section! I’m hoping it may be a tad bit easier to score a high value coupon since it’s Sunday, but who knows! Remember that the high value $75 off $100 coupon is baaaack! Yay!

THE OLD NAVY SITE DOES NOT BLOCK YOU GUYS !!!!! I KNOW FROM FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. I WAS ABLE TO TAKE TH QUIZ 2 TIMES. I FAILED THE FIRST TIME AND WAS ABLE TO GET THE COUPON SECOND TIME. SO CARLA IS WRONG ABOUT THAT ONE.
Melissa Carla is saying that they MIGHT do that this time to prevent the hackers from getting a bunch of Qs, not that they did that in the past.
ON has changed the site this week so the coupons do not go in 20 seconds. This week you will have one chance at the “task” then be blocked form the big one.
Was that a different week, Melissa? Plus Carla said she wasn’t saying there was an actual quiz, it was just an example.
I don’t know about real carla or fake Carla but Carla did confuse all of us at first.

Ok everyone. I have been viewing the comments weekly and have just about had enough of the “Carla” situation. Carla has her information wrong guys. How do I know ? I am actually an Old Navy employee. If you do not want to trust me, that is your choice. I have no problem with that. All I am saying is that nobody, and let me repeat NOBODY has any prior knowledge of the coupon resets. Not even us employees. In fact, the time that they are reset is computer generated .
I’ve been refreshing on here more than ONWeekly. I may miss it because I’m talking to all y’all.

Not saying I fully trust him, but Mike makes a point. It is easy for ON to put out false info to throw us off the scent.
Like I said it is computer generated so not even the Old Navy people know when their site will refresh. They just decide the amount of coupons that will go into the resetting.
I don’t fully trust this IP Address theory b/c it’s easy to reset your modem and get a new IP. I’m quite certain the “hackers” are fully aware how to reset them and get new IP’s.

I agree with Delilah. They cant block anybody from the site because changing your IP address is not hard. I am not that computer literate and even I know how to do it. So that would make no sense for them to do that.

Deliliah you cannot get a new IP address by resetting your modem every computer has it’s own IP address no matter what network you use. So you could get on one network with one computer and get on another network and it will still be listed under the same IP address.
It is possible to change a computers IP address, but it’s not a quick & easy process
Ana for networks working with router, you can change them. I have changed mine many times.
I have also changed my desktops IP too .
What if Carla changed her name to MIKE?

Come on guys, coming on here and chatting used to be fun. We are all getting upset over nothing. The coupons will reset and those who are quick will get them, others will have to wait til next time. Chatting on here is supposed to be helpful and fun. Let’s stop pointing fingers.

Ana: my husband is an IT analyst. He says that he resets his IP all the time and even though his computer has one IP that resetting the modem changes it.

I think the ON site does not make itself there are programers that set up the page and know where the Qs are hidden and roughly when the qs will reset because they wrote the program. I don’t think Mike would really know this unless he specifically works in the IT dept or is in direct relation to the webmaster for Oldnavyweekly.com. Who know Carla might know so of these thing because she does have a direct relation with someone that works on the site.
I’m not saying I believe all of what anyone says but I do know that the times I stayed up & hunted Qs Carla had a few insights that turned out true that no one else had.
As for the IPs we all know this is just a suggestion to TRY to discourage people from getting multiples but we all know there are ways around things like that.

Here’s how to renew/release your IP address:
Click the Start menu button on the Windows taskbar.
Click Run… on this menu.
If the computer is holding a current IP address, type ‘cmd’ (without the quotes) in the text box that appears. A command prompt window appears on the screen.
Type ‘ipconfig’ (without the quotes) to view the status of the computer’s IP address(es).
If the computer is holding a current IP address, type ‘ipconfig /release’ to let go of the address.
Type ‘ipconfig /renew’ to obtain a new IP address (whether or not the computer is holding a current address).
Old Navy, Gap, Banana Rupublic are all stupid stores who are quickly losing customers to this stupid coupon crap. Why would I want to go in there and spend an hour making sure I hit a total of $100 so I can get $75 off? Why do I need to spend hours in front of my computer to get a coupon that is almost INSTANTLY STOLEN by computer hackers? They probably aren’t even HACKERS, but Old Navy trying to stir up drama and get even more people interested in this damn search.

OK Well it is almost 3PM so according to Carla, that is when the reset will be. If it is not then she really doesn’t know anything and when she makes all those guesses, she gets lucky when some turn up being true !

delilah: There is a difference bewteen a Static IP adress and a Dynamic IP. Dynamic is what can be changed via the router but does not identify a computer it identifies a router and does change with the router reset a static IP identies the computer and it is permanent.
