So funny that Target is the heated topic tonight! Seriously, there are more things to worry about than who’s doing what with what coupons. With that said, my hubby and I went to Target today and several of my Target coupons would not scan. This is the norm at the Target that we frequent (Gunbarrel Rd., Chattanooga, TN). The coupons could be printed with a brand spankin’ new ink cartridge or one that is on its last leg and they STILL can’t get them to scan. So, today, we get “lucky” and have a front end lead cashier manager person helping our cashier. After the poor little guy could not get our coupons to scan she very snottily says, “can’t take em if they won’t scan.” Probably not the best thing to say to someone who loves Target and spends a lot of money there. Told her that many times the cashiers just enter the numbers and we are on our merry way. She told us that they would probably lose their jobs. Hubby asks for a manager and she said she was one. So, we asked for the store manager who was nice but still backed up the fact that they couldn’t manually key them in. But, told us that if we had several of the same Q’s to just have the cashier repeatedly scan the one that would scan for the amount of Q’s we did have. OK, I guess that I can live with that, but what a pain in the behind!!! I am so going to start printing my coupons there from now on! Does anyone know if you can print the older ones that are still out there or is it just the newest ones that are released?

    Thanks for all you do!

    Keri Lyn @ She Saved
__the beneful coupon does print and works great. I was able to use it at walmart and got a 30lb bag for 20 dollars.
verses the 15 dollars I paid a while ago for just a 15lb bag.

Not bad. My savings at Target today were $58.65 with $9.12 out of pocket, and I have a $10 Kelloggs rebate receivable as a result.

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

There is no Target coupon for Beneful that I was able to find, only Purina ONE.

    hi all,

i know some readers were wanting the breakdown of the coupons. i got them all off of here and they were all online coupons. My target here in kcmo gets alot of coupon usage so the managers will let you know that they allow 5 like item coupons in the same transaction even if they have a limit of one per transaction, this keeps the customer’s happy and shopping at target. the couopns used are as follows:
Market Pantry Single String Cheese $0.50
Use the $1/2 Target coupon from here, coupon says any 2 market pantry cheese product. they were on sale for $0.40 at my store so i purchased 6 total (3 coupons needed)

Artisan Mini Loaves of Bread .99
Use the $1 Target coupon (i used the 5 max allowed at my store)

Honey Bunches of Oats Pecan Bunches $2.24
Use the $2 coupon from here
Final cost $0.24!(only used 1 not a big cereal guy)

    Bananas .56 per lb
    Use the .50 Target coupon
Final cost .06!( print 2 and separate the bushel of bananas into two 1lb bushel’s if desired)

    Johnson’s Soap Buddies Bars $0.97
    Use the $1 Target coupon
    Final cost FREE + overage!

Purina One Dry Dog or Cat Food (4 lb bag) $3.79-$5.99
Use the $3 or $3.50 Purina One manufacturer coupon
Plus, use the $2 Target coupon
Final cost as low as FREE + a $1.71 moneymaker!
**to clarify if you look at the dog food in the picture close it say purina right above beneful so you can use the combo of MF coupon and target coupon as long as its a purina brand they dont care about which type**

Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth Deodorant $3.29
Use the $2 coupon from here: IE or Firefox
    Plus, the $1 Target coupon
Final cost .29!(print 2 of each)

Renu Contact solution (trial size) $1.49
Use the $2 coupon from here
Or Use the $1 coupon from here
Final cost as low as FREE + overage!(printed 2 of the $2 coupons)

And the gum was because i had overage left over and I didnt want to waste it.

p.s. i was so embarrassed that i didn’t have the $0.33 and had to card that small amount haha.

I was getting ready to say that benefal is a purina brand. I am surprised by some of the hating on here. I think some people are scared that manufactures and stores will see these kinds of posts and make it harder on us couponers than they already are. I am very lucky that the cashiers here LOVE couponers. They love seeing how much you save. It does help that I used to work at the Target I shop at so I know some of the cashiers and managers. I used 10 of the 1.00 of general mills coupons with .75 manufactures coupons the other day. Had to do them all in seperate transactions but, every one behind me was really nice. They said they wished they had time to coupon. I smile and say thanks. Some coupons just say a brand name rather than a specific type in that brand. Check the back of items to know. Irish spring is a PG product so u can use any coupon that is for PG if you have a smart cashier. Doesn’t beep so they usually don’t care. Hope that is clear.

you can print coupons at target, but they only have a select few. not nearly as many as you find on the organic grocery website. I have gone there to do it a few times and been dissapointed that i didn’t see the ones I wanted.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    that is so awesome

thank you for this post! It all worked perfectly! Lou

I think its great when someone gets a great deal. I have absolutely no problem with getting overage. If you followed all the rules and the store grants you some overage to buy another item with it is so exciting! I’m sure that the stores and manufacturers know whats going on. They’re not blind. They do their research. By Target doing this it keeps us talking about their store and keeps us going back where we’ll end up buying other things along the way. I do just did it yesterday.

Unfortunatly, I don’t agree with people who force coupons through for items that they didn’t buy and then brag.
The Target coupon clearly states save on PURINA ONE DRY DOG FOOD. If they specify a certain product then thats what the coupon is for. I would never think to use a coupon for $3.00 off Huggies Goodnights diapers jumbo packs, and buy the $1.00 travel wipes instead, with reasoning that “Well, I still bought something Huggies”. That is just fraud. The dollar amount on the coup is for a specific product from the company because they know the price of the products.

I agree. I love this site and all the bargains in it. But come on. Lets beat them at their own game, not steal from them. It makes us look bad. There are LOTS of loopholes as we are discovering. But hey, we have found ways to make these couponsreally WORK! Lets not blow it by using them fraudently. Besides, did anyone think to think of the cashiers??? I would not want to get anybody in trouble because they were clueless.

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

you can print the older target coupons at afullcup.com. They print the same size as the ones off of target.com. The ones on the organic foods website print to small to scan.
