Do you have any Lucky Charms fans in your household?

We sure do, my kiddos, my hubby and yes… even me! We usually just eat it as a *treat* on the weekends, but sometimes, admittedly, I indulge at night time! I know the worst time to indulge! What is it about nighttime and sweets? Hopefully we can cover this in my new healthy eating series starting next week!!!

Anyway, Cydne emailed about a deal available on Lucky Charms at Target. Now this won’t make the cereal close to free, but I personally think it’s a great deal for this variety and brand!

General Mills Lucky Charms Cereal on sale for $2.50
Buy 2 for a total of $5
Use 2 $1/1 Target coupon
Plus, use the $1/2 coupon from here or here: IE or Firefox
Final cost $1 per box!

(Thanks, Cydne!)

I am such a fan! I’m going to get me four boxes.

This just made me start craving a bowl of Lucky Charms! It’s so good!

The Target coupon says “One offer per transaction”, so how could you use two? Thanks.

some targets allow you to use a “family sized” amount on the target internet coupons. some cashiers dont care. the register will let you take as many as you want i think, as long as it doesnt beep in the first place. this is a corp policy but they do say that managers have the right to override this one. so milage may vary

I’ve found that if i had them a bunch of coupons they usually don’t look twice, so no hassling from them!

I couldn’t get my coupons to print.

They have lucky charms in the single cups at my store for just $1. I have been using the $1 Target coupons and getting them for free, NO BEEPS!!! Free cereal is always great. If you live close enough, just go in a couple of times, I usually get 5 each trip with no problem. Expires on the 9th though, so get as many as you can before then!

i got other varieties of general mill cereals for the same price. i got cinnamon toast crunch and cookie crisp. i guess it depends on each target.

My target had the cereal for $3.50 a box. Not the $2.50. these were the Huge family size here in AZ

BIG TIME FAN of the Lucky Charms after the kids go to bed. I live about an hour from the nearest Target which is such a bummer to begin with. I am new to “couponing” and put together a pretty solid list today and made the trip. With so many coupons and two toddlers in tow I wasn’t able to hawk-eye the cashier. It seems several of my coupons were ignored. I think he rang through them so fast he picked up two at a time and whatnot. I am SO bummed. For the items I wouldn’t ordinarily buy I have put them aside to return but I am still bummed. Also a few of the sales prices list on this site didn’t match what my Target had listed. Does this vary by region?
