  1. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

LOVE the swiffer wet jet they have an anti bacterial febreeze fluid that is GREAT.

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I HATE mopping so the inventor of this product is a God send! I adore my Swiffer WetJet, and despite the cost of refill fluid and cleaning pads, it makes mopping a breeze! I will never go back to life without it!! Hope this helps!

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I hate the wet jet. It leaves a sticky residue on my laminate flooring. I also don’t feel like it cleans very well.

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I dont like the cleaner, but I just put the cleaner I do like in the refill and use it. I love the Wet Jet idea, but like to use a different cleaner. That does sound like a great deal, and I really could use a second one.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

it is easyer than draging a mop and bucket around i like it

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m not happy with wetjet either so I’m thinking about sending Money Back Guarantee form to get my money back.

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My mother in law bought me one and I have mixed feelings. I’m so used to a mop thats nice and wet with hot water with cleaner added. I found that I was pushing the button all the time trying to get my small kitchen shinny and squeeky clean.

Though I LOVE the smell of the fluid, I found it just wasn’t enough to cover any larger area. Great for spots and small areas..but I ran out of fluid fast and still ended up going over my floor with my usual mop.

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I hate it too.. I thought the cleaning stuff left a film and it didn’t clean very well. It’s only good in a pinch to clean up minor spills.

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I find the Wet Jet is good for in between washing the floor on my hands and knees (the old fashioned way – nothing compares!) I bought a wahsable cloth attachment that works better than the wet jet disposable cloths and I was able to take the cap off the cleaner bottle and fill with my own floor cleaner. It saves a lot of money doing it that way. It’s a good “tool” to have around.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

clodyo – where did you get the washable cloth

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i have heard that the fluid is not good for pets….makes me nervous with dogs and babies crawling around. but i do like the “tool”

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Clodyo, I would like to know where you find the cloth too.

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m not crazy about the WetJet either. The fluid smells good, but the issue I have is that it seems to run out of the fluid, and pads really fast. If you’re doing a lot of mopping or mopping a large area, you might want to reconsider, but as someone else suggested I think it would be good for spot cleaning, or in between small jobs.

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I really, realllllllly love my WetJet! I use it every 2-3 days and it keeps my floors super clean! I don’t have a single complaint.

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I really like my wet jet. Mops usually just smear dirty water around the floor, never picking it up. The wet jet pads really suck up the dirt and leave the floor clean. The cleaning liquid that it comes with is horrible in my opinion. It does leave a film on the floor that attracts dirt and causes the floor to get dirtier faster. Ugh! But, I just use glass cleaner in mine and it works great – no film 🙂

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The pad I use is a microfiber pad that came in an Orange Glo Harwood Floor cleaning system (my husband bought it 3 years ago and has yet to use it! At least I have used the microfiber pad!) But, my mother bought the equivalent at Walgreens. It is call the Microfiber Swivel Mop – it’s an “As Seen on TV” item, but you can buy the pads on Amazon for $5.99 (https://www.amazon.com/MicroFiber-Swivel-Mop-Pad-Refill/dp/B000FSP6X8). I just attach mine to my Wet Jet mop and it is great. The pad is longer than my mop but I just flip the excess over the top.

Tara, check this out (snopes found that it is not true that the Wet Jet causes harm to pets): https://www.snopes.com/critters/crusader/swiffer.asp HTH

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I love the wetjet just not the cleaner that comes with the wetjet… so I have a spray bottle of no rinse cleaner that I use with the wetjet and LOVE mopping this way!

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I don’t like it. I used it until the fluid ran out (which was quick) and never used it again. I now use a regular swiffer with the swiffer wet pads on it. They don’t stay wet long enough to clean my entire floor so I carry around a spray bottle with my favorite cleaner and spray the floor as I go. We have laminate wood floors in kitchen (eat in dining)/living room/and hallway and I use 3 of the wet swiffer pads with each mopping. I am trying to find a good washable cloth I could use on the swiffer so I don’t have to buy the refills anymore as it can get pricey.

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you ,Clodyo. I will check on Amazon 🙂

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

clodyo….thanks…i was wondering if it was true or not…i always am weary of the cleaning products on the market…..or maybe i just use that as my excuse why i dont clean more lol

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I HATE my swiffer wet jet but LOVE IT cuz i hate mopping and getting on my hands and knees. I want to konw what you guys are filling it with for the laminate floors. My laminate looks like CACA after im done, streaky and dull and film covered, worse than i started with. ugh…

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great deal. Get it! Keep in mind that it is not to replace your mop or hands/knee cleaning but is for quick clean ups in between cleanings, accidents, and muddy foot prints!
I would also recommend investing in the Shark Purple Steamer pads- you can buy them separate I think at Bed/Bath/Beyond and maybe Kohl’s- they then go into the washer and fit on this via velcro. There are also other alternatives to this at Bed/Bath/Beyond (remember their coupons never expire!) HTH 😉

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i have a wet jet sitting in my closet and there it sits! I think it works well for a quick clean but definitly not for a deep clean. I think the refils can get pricy.. so I am interested in trying filling it with my own cleaner.. thanks for the tip!

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

PS…did I miss something, cause my Home Made Simple book does not have a $5.00 off coupon, unless I missed it. Mine only has a $5 off on any one Swiffer Sweeper vac Starter Kit??

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Did anyone mention that Target also had a coupon for $1.00 off the wetjet. It expires today 9/30.

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m not able to use two coupons together….i have tried numerous times without luck. sounds like a deal girls…..get one for me.

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Tara,
I agree with you! I try to use as many “green” products or homemade solutions for cleaning (vinegar, baking soda, lemon juice, etc.) but I have found with hardwood floors I have to use a store bought cleaner.
I wish I didn’t have to clean, though!

  28. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I also use the WetJet with microfiber mop cloths. I find them at Don Aslett’s cleaning center. I get the Scrubbee Doo – the back of it sticks to the WetJet and doesn’t fall off. It also works very well with their (Don Asletts) other mop handles. Their cleaning products are amazing! By the way: I do not work there or get commission for this – I just love their products and my family and I have used them for years.

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

love my swiffer and i use the anti-bac 🙂 very convenient and the pads last a long time

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I hate the wet Jet. It left a horrible film on my hardwood floors that took me weeks and several tries to get off. I would not waste the money.

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It leaves a film on the floor that only comes off with HOURS of hands and knees scrubbing with vinegar and water!

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The wetjet is priced $19.99 here. I went to CVS yesterday, armed with the $5 off, and I brought *2* free refill coupons, and was prepared to be turned down for the 2nd. I wasn’t!!!! So, with ECBs,I got all 3 free!

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So, I think it’s been established that the WetJet is not good for hardwood/laminate floors, but we have TILE and I wouldn’t part with my WetJet if someone paid me! I really dislike regular mopping. I think it just pushes the dirt around and having a wet mop head sitting around to breed bacteria is not my idea of fun. The WetJet is the only way to go for me. It works fabulously on my floors!

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I would never use the WetJet on laminate floors!! I use it on Vinyl and it works amazingly well. I give the Swiffer WetJet my most sincere endorsement! Yay WetJet!

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I LOVE my wet jet! I have a WHITE tile kitchen floor, which doesnt really work well with three kids around! I can just pull out the wet jet and mop whenever there is a spot or a spill! its sooo convenient.

  36. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

We have tile floors in our kitchen, entryway, and both bathrooms and I *love* my Swiffer WetJet on it!!

  37. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just got the same kind of deal at Walmart today. Mine was a total of 13.85 including a double refill of the cleaner. I have some microfiber towels from other sweepers so I will try that out before I buy any refills. Hope it is worth the 13 bucks. I could have loaded my freezer up with meat at that price this week. Great deals at Publix and Kroger!!!

  38. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    I LOVE mine!

  39. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My friend, Char, had no luck using both coupons on the Wet Jet at Target – she had both the $5/1 and the free refill coupon; they would only accept one.

We just tried this deal on Sunday and our Target in Clackamas County, Oregon would NOT take both coupons! I’M BEGINNING TO LOATHE TARGET!!!

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Check out Moneysavingmadness.com She had a review of the product a week or so ago. She also had terry cloth pads mad for her wet jet & tell you how to add your own cleaner. Very informative. I’m going to give it a try. Hate the mop & bucket thing.

  42. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My 5 dollar coupon expired yesterday. 🙁

  43. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I love the wetjet! The swiffer WET (not jet) sucks and the swiffer dry is awesome, too. My husband actually does most of the mopping because he can use it so easily. And if he’s willing to do it, I love any product.

  44. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I LOVE mine. It’s better than chocolate. After a long stressful day (I’m an accountant) I will come home and mop my floors with it. It’s like a stress reducer for me and it really calms me down. You could even leave the cleaner bottle open and the smell will permeate throughout your home. The smell is absolutely AMAZING.

  45. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh, I found a $5 coupon in last weekend’s p&g. Sweet! I’ve been using the swiffer wet jet since it came out and I love it! I don’t recommend using it for hardwood floors though. I use a special cleaner for that.

  46. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    I love this product!
You can open the bottle with some tricks (google for it) and refill with your favorite floor cleaner. You can also buy/make reusable cloth pads for it.

There is a satisfaction guarantee rebate on swiffer.com, if you don’t like it, you can send it in for a full refund!!

  47. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I hate the wet jet also. The floors feel tacky and then attract the dirt. Mine also developed a leak. I went in to get it out of the closet and the entire bottle of cleaning fluid had leaked onto the floor. Happily they do have a Money Back Guarantee though.

  48. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I actually just did this exact deal earlier this week (adding in the $1/1 Target coupon that is now expired)! I have already used the WJ 2 times and like it!

The fluid does seem to run out quickly though. 🙁

  49. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for all the reviews everyone! I just got one myself at CVS on Sunday- priced at $19.99, less $5 coupon. Also got the free refill. Then had the $5 off $25 flu quiz coupon. So it came out to $9.99 after all the coupons (and CVS is so awesome with coupons- no hassle!). I had hesitated to buy it also because of the cost. Haven’t used it yet (busy week with Kmart doubles- LOL)- but plan to use it for smaller areas like my tile bathrooms, entrance foyer, spot mopping, etc. I have the irobot scooba for larger areas like my kitchen- I run it 2-3 times/ week with vinegar/ water. I really appreciate all the advice on alternative cleaners and pads for the WetJet. I was sweating that! Thanks especially to Brea for the link to the review site with specific recommendations on pads. 🙂
