"Follow Me Monday"…to the Dominican Republic!
Alright, so this isn’t going to be the typical “Follow Me Monday” video. Why? Well, this may surprise some of you, but I just got back from a weeks Thanksgiving vacation in the Dominican Republic! It’s was really fun and relaxing. The best part was spending time with my sisters, grandmother (my favorite person in the whole world) and dad. I don’t get to see them very often, so getting to spend a whole week with them was amazing and I enjoyed every second of it!
Alright, so what’s the video about? Well, while traveling to the Dominican Republic I got to test out this awesome new product called DryCASE! The DryCASE is a flexible, crystal clear waterproof bag that allows complete use of your phone or camera while keeping it dry and clean. All you have to do is pump out all the air with the small little hand pump (provided) and the bag will vacuum seal around the contents and become completely waterproof! I was a little skeptical and worried my Flip Video Camera would not stay dry… BUT I was completely wrong! Not only did it stay dry, but the picture (as you’ll see) was very clear!
The DryCASE also features a 3 way headphone jack which allows you to safely listen to music or even take calls. You can also here and talk through the DryCASE as long as a little air is left in, it will still be waterproof and can be sealed, there just needs to be a little bit of air for sound waves to travel! Plus, the DryCASE includes a bandneoprene armband which can be used to attach the product to your arm or to the console or a boat or anything else. This armband can easily be removed too!

LOVED the video! Looks like you had a great time. We were in the DR about 9 yrs ago and loved it except for the extreme humidity when we were there (June I think).

Very cute. 🙂 I thought something seriously bad was happening though at about 2:47 w/your underwater camera! Like you maybe had swallowed too much water or the sea urchin was comin’ after ya, haha 😉 Otherwise, very entertaining. Can’t shop right now but enjoying looking at all the deals. I was extremely disappointed in the Follow Me Monday video. I look forward to these every week and this one was not about saving money, but simply a sales pitch. And posting all week while being out of the country??? Or was someone else posting???
Anyways, it is your blog and you can post whatever you want. I understand you need to make money off the blog to be worth your time, and you have saved me so much that I can’t really complain. I just thought I would share my two cents.
I have a suggestion too. I would love to see any deals you get on traveling too. I travel a lot and would love to save more money doing it.

Thank you so much for doing this video. I know some think you aren’t saving money with this one but thanks to this I will save a bundle. We are going on a cruise in April and my husband wanted to buy new under water camaras and stuff now I can show him this video and he can see how clear it will be using this product which is 100’s cheaper than we would have spent. Actually, there is something to be said for full disclosure. I know that Colin works on this blog all the time and does a tremendous job (thanks!!) and I have no problem with her receiving perks for her time spent. But I feel like I’d like to know when those times are if only for the sake of being able to make a fully informed decision about buying something.

Hey, Collin works 24/7 finding us deals and it doesn’t cost us anything for this information! I went away for Thanksgiving week and have an online business. I was able to post, email and keep track of things with no problem on my inlaws computer. With a laptop you can access your email, site, etc. from just about anywhere.
