For this deal, would it work the same for the toothbrushes? Do the coupons HAVE to go in any order for this deal to work? My walgreens makes us do IN-AD q’s first.
There is no RR when you buy Chips Ahoy. They are on sale for $.99 though.
Yes, there is a Register Reward deal available when you purchase Chips Ahoy–it’s been confirmed by a few readers. It’s only for the Nabisco Chips Ahoy cookies, though, and not any other Nabisco cookies.
My flier shows Chips a Hoy at .99 but does not mention anything about a RR. For those who have done this deal was it advertised in your flyer?

It’s not in the ad because it’s not a weekly deal. It’s part of a monthly deal…there is a monthly deal that when you buy 2 Chips Ahoy or Capri Sun products you get a $2 register reward. I’m sure the small 0.99 packages were not intended to be included in this but as we see often at Walgreens glitches happen. I would take advantage of this deal ASAP though because once they realize it they may fix it.
How can there be 1.21 overage on the floss? Wouldn’t the register beep?
I’m looking through my Jan issue of All You, and can’t seem to find the Glade $3/2 coupon. Does anyone know what page it’s on?
The subscription to All You does not always have the same coupons as the All You purchased at Walmart.
For the reach deals…do you have to use the coupons in any order for it to work? They make us give the in-ad q first. Will it still work?
I just did the Reach deal. Got 2 floss (3.97 each). Handed them the $2 in-ad coupon (deducted $4 total). Then handed over my BOGO coupon, and the cashier had to type in 3.97. Ended up working great. I didn’t think to use the other $1 coupon, but it still worked out to be a great deal.
If you are trying to get overage you will have to have them scan the Wags q LAST. The register will beep if they scan the Wags q first then the BOGO and $1 Manu q’s.
I can’t believe my deal tonight at Walgreens. Got 4 flosses, 8 toothbrushes (which the register let me do the double pack), 2 Ester-C , Electrosal, 3 Proenamel toothpaste for kids….TOTAL.. $.07! And a $1.00 RR to boot….
You can also do the glade deal, use the RR to get 2 more glade items and then get a $5 rebate from SC Johnson.
My Wags will not let me do it if they figure out there is overage. I believe I was told you should hand over manu q’s first, RR’s, then store q’s.
If my store was gonna be picky like that, I would only have the manu q’s in my hand, then say “oh, I forgot,” and then hand over the in-ad q’s.
My Ester-C coupons didn’t work. I got the 2/10.99 BOGO deal, handed over 2 of my $5 coupons, but the second one beeped. My cashier wouldn’t force it through. Anyone else have this problem?
My coupons worked every time. I’ve purchased twelve bottles in several transactions at different stores so far and never had a problem. Maybe the cashier needed to hit subtotal or the second Ester-C wasn’t scanned. Or maybe RR’s were scanned first and you didn’t have enough items for the second Ester-C coupon to attach properly.
this happened to me but my cashier just manually entered in the 2nd coupon.
Are the monthly RR posted anywhere? I just did the Reach toothbrushes, floss, and Stayfree maxi pads and spent a whole $.30! I would like to do the Glade deal, but I can’t find anything about the RR in their flyer.

Ok, so last week Wal-Mart told me I couldn’t use a BOGO in combination with another coupon, even though I was buying 2 products? Is that right?….I even had them call over a CSM and she verified they couldn’t do that, it is considered stacking coupons and they don’t do that. She tried telling me that the BOGO is technically attached to both products and you can only use one coupon per product. Anyone else have issues with this or is it just Wal-Mart that won’t do this? Target never gives me any grief! But Walgreens has as well…actually my hubby was asked to leave the store last time he tried to use a BOGO with another coupon for 2 items and stood his ground!
it is walmart! every time i do that they treat me like a criminal. just go to target, they ask no questions and gladly acept 2 coupons with a bogo!
Not always, Target says the same thing about how it is included in the coupon for the free item! I just expect that with everyone now.

Meijer is the same way, too. Even the self scan will adjust the second coupon to zero on certain items that are BOGO.
My Jan issue of All You (subscription) does not have Glade Coupon either. arg.
Don’t forget about the Nabisco $20 rebate! It is in the $55 coupon book they mailed out last year, and a new rebate started January 1. The small packages of cookies ARE included in that:)

totally wasted trip for me. Where are you all located. I’m in southeast mi and my walgreens didn’t have the bayer marked down, the candles weren’t on sale, and there was no in ad coupon for the floss. Went out in this nasty weather for nothing.
I’m located in Illinois but I went to NW Indiana store today and Chips Ahoy and Glade worked fine. Sometimes stores don’t always have things marked on sale. You could easily do a price check………if not the price you thought then don’t get it.
I did 2 Chips Ahoy, 4 2 oz candles, – I had 2 $3 off coupons for Glade. The cost was $6.38 with tax, and I used my gift card I just received from mypoints.com so I paid $0 and got $2 in RR for the cookies and $5 for the candles! Love it! Thanks Collin!
I did the Glade 2/$5 and used my 3/2 coupon, but no RR printed! I did not know where to show the cashier it should have printed so I just paid the $2. Where did you see the RR deal?

So with the visine deal couldnt you use the visine coupon from the ABC’s book to make it a money maker also for the neosporin ointment there is a $2 in ad coupon also a $1 off in I forget what paper but with the rr wouldnt that be a money maker also and finally I dont know about yours but my nabisco book has the coupons only good for certain months and the cookie one is not good til next month.

I did the b1gi reach floss deal and the in ad only deducted $2 not $4. Is there a certain order I should hand the coupons to the cashier. Thanx
If that’s the only items you purchased then that is bound to happen. I’ve done the same thing and have learned that the coupons don’t cover tax therefore you need to have a filler item or something cheap to not go in the negative without tax added on. So yes you can use all those coupons and be $1.21, but you need to have something that’s over the -$1.21. I hope that somewhat explains it or helps.

Karen… if you buy them in seperate transactions, I know they will (I did 3 separate transactions buying 2 a piece)… the total was $2.00 and $2.00 in register rewards printed out. I am somewhat bummed that my Redplum does not have the coupons for the cereal or the floss… not only that, I got a diabetes and you book and it doesnt’ have the theraflu coupon.. so basically, I’m missing out on everything except for the Chip A’hoy! LOL

Went to Wags this morning & oh did I get the deals. I was in my Wags for 2hrs. LOL OOPS $56.88 & saved $212.01. Got back 24 in rr’s. I got so many thing free. My cart was heaping full!!! Their best ad in a very long time. I’m still excited. My Wags also had many things clearanced. Some very good deals out there to be had!!!
where can you find the monthly deals for Walgreens?
Went to Walgreens today and had 2 separate orders..all Glade. My first order was 4- 2 oz candles,1 scented oil candle tin and 1 pack of scented oil refills. I used 2 of the $3/2 q’s for the 2 oz. candles, $1.50 q for the scented oil candle tin and 1 q for a free pack of refills for when you buy the scented oil candle tin. I also used a $5 RR and my total came to $2.11 and I asked before she started if I could get a “rebate receipt” so I could get 2 receipts back with this order. My second order was three pack of refills for the scented oil candle tin and I used the $5 RR from my first order and a q for buy 2 packs get 1 free and that total came to 53 cents. My grand total was $2,64 and since I got a rebate receipt with my first order I am sending in all 3 receipts for the SC Johnson rebate and I’ll get $15 back. I also went to CVS for the Nivea deal and picked up 4 Nivea body wash( 2 per order) and it printed out a second $5 ecb even though it says limit 1 in the ad. That was a nice surprise and oddly the stores close to me had what I wanted. Hope everyone else does well.
Crystal, I checked out that Visine coupon and the ABC book only has manufacturer’s coupons in it, not Wags coupons, so they aren’t stackable. I was excited, but still a good deal without the stacking. It is an additional source for a $2 coupon though, good catch!
I went to my walgreens today and did the glade,chips ahoy, and the tylenol deal etc. I only had issues with the sensodyne enamel toothpaste. They were ringing up at full price of 5.79 not 3.49. Anyone else have that problem?

There are also BOGO peelies and .50 cent peelies on the candles. I saw them today but wasn’t aware of the RR deal.
Got two flosses for .59 cents, they cost 4.29 at my walgreens. Wasnt able to use the 1.00 coupon, so no overage. Actually had beeps with the store and bogo, but the manager finally worked it out :).

I was just at Walgreens and the RR for the cookies specifically say for 14 oz or larger which means the ones on sale for 99 cents would not qualify. Not sure why it would work for some and not for others.

Nabisco cookies or crackers 4-8 oz ($0.99) is listed on the Walgreens flyers that come with the Sunday newspapers but no RR. Chips Ahoy is in the picture too but no RR deal. Is there a sign in the store that shows RR?

Just got back from Wags. the 2 RR is only good on CHIPS AHOY, do not be temped to get the Nutter Butters as I did. Also bought the Jan All You mag and did not see the Glade coupon. ;(
You CAN use Register Rewards from a different deal to pay for another Register Reward dealwhich means you can roll Register Rewards from different deals to help lower your out of pocket expense.
Does this mean that I can use a rr from the chips ahoy to buy the glade candles and the $3 rr for the candles will still print?
Does anyone know if you get the RR on all the glade products that are on sale or just the Frangrance Collection?
