Thanks! Booked an appt for Monday. Am I correct that I can have the pics taken of all 4 of my kids without any charge for “4 subjects”?

Thanks Collin! I am loving all these FREE photo calendars.

I despise Sears portrait studio, and will never go back. Last time I went there w/ a free offer coupon, we got all through the shoot, and then they told me I had to buy at least one sheet of pictures before I could get my free item, even though it didn’t say that anywhere on the coupon. So just be aware, and double check with your studio that this offer really is free and you won’t have to purchase anything to get it!

I’ve had the same problem as Summer. I was told, “Well we cant just give it to you for free, you have to buy something.” I would call ahead and see what your studio allows.

I did make apt and then called the store. They said that I have to buy something. The cheapest one is a sheet for $9.99.

I have done this before and there are always restrictions that cost money I would wait until The Picture People do an offer they are free

FYI- when it goes time to look at the proofs and order your pictures, pick your favorite 2 poses first ( they will appear on the right of the screen, in a small collumn, top to bottom) When you go pick up your order sears will always has extra sheets printed for you to purchase at pick up….usually 5 sheets are available to purchase for $5 a sheet. This is a pretty good deal because the extra sheets they print are always enhanced photos (black/white, sepia, special shading, etc) which are normally verry expensive, usually an EXTRA $10 a sheet. Just make sure your favorite 2 poses are the first two picture you commit and they will show up as the top 2 photos on the computer screen when ordering.

I doubt any of the studios will let you use this coupon without purchasing anything. Every Sears Portrait Studio coupon has some version of “Restrictions apply” on their coupons. You can only use one coupon per session unless it specifically says it can be combined with another coupon. Sorry but you can’t come in with two kids, say it is two orders, and use two coupons either.

Some advice from someone who has experience behind the camera…if you are demanding, picky, and/or unpleasant in the camera room you will not be treated the same as if you are understanding, nice, and let the photographer do what they know how to and need to do. Please don’t tell the photographer how to do their job. Be a pleasant customer and you will get the best service you could imagine. If the photographer feels like all you want to do is waste their time (and yes…if it takes you two hours and all you want is the free picture you are wasting their time) then they will be strict with any rule and or restriction they can throw at you.

Something else to remember, if your child does not want to cooperate please don’t force them to take pictures. If your child is unhappy, cranky, upset, scared, etc the pictures will not come out the way you would like…they are photographers not magicians. I’ve seen hundreds of parents push their crying kids to take pictures and not one single time did the parents get what they were hoping for or expecting from the session. So please reschedule and it’ll be better for everyone involved.

And no the photographers do not work on commission (they practically work for free…haha) …but their hours are based on sales. I know that this isn’t what you want to hear and it is pretty harsh…but it is the truth. If all you want is the free calendar you may want to steer clear of Sears Portrait Studio because it won’t be worth the hassle…believe me!

galaxystar2, you will not be charged a sitting fee with this coupon. It doesn’t matter if you have one person or twenty people…the sitting fee is a flat $14.99 no matter how many people, unless of course you have a coupon that says “no sitting fee”.
