"Follow You Monday" Publix and Target shopping!
Alright, so as most of you know, I was in Florida over the weekend and had a blast! My “Follow You Monday” giveaway winner was an awesome reader of mine named Sarah! She was a fantastic sport throughout the filming process (and it took hours and hours). Plus, she put up with me and that says a lot! 😉 Thanks, Sarah!
Today’s “Follow You Monday” two part video is mostly about Publix shopping. We also go to Super Target, but as you’ll see from the video, Publix takes up the majority of our time—which was fine with me! I’m in LOVE with Publix and I think you will be too after watching these videos!

I live in Orlando, FL and have 5 publix’s near me and none will allow overage! I have spoken with each manager and I am told no! Not fair.

Hi, I was just wanting to know if Sarah does that everytime she goes shopping there or was that just a better day then normal. Also it was funny you going to super Target after that and it was harder to find deals like you find at Pubix.

OMG!!!!!!! I NEED A PUBLIX NEAR ME!!!!!!! Wow, I am sooooooo excited to see someone get such good deals. I cant wait to get my coupons in order and head out shopping, although, it will never be as good as that publix trip. I wish all stores where so coupon friendly, this really stops me from going to get things as much as I like, because of the register humiliation of the cashier telling me no I cant use a coupon for such and such. WOW – that was an amazing shopping trip! I must admit I’m a little jealous 🙂 my grocery stores are pretty lame – no double, no store coupons, no competitors coupons. Maybe I’ll convince my DH to go to law school that has a Publix nearby 😉
Awesome video!!! Definitely a jaw dropper when I saw your total out of pocket. I’m from St. Augustine, FL and I have to agree on Publix being the best store there is ever!!! My store have the nicest managers and especially the Store manager. The cashiers are pleasant and are coupon users as well, they get as excited as much as I do when I save so much at the end. Btw, my Publix also accepts extra care bucks (earned from CVS), LOVE my PUBLIX!!!
My Publix is the same way…the bagger always asks the cashier how much I saved!!! I LOVE PUBLIX!!!

Stephanie, they’re TRUE RELIGION jeans.
They run about $200+ depending on which style/fade/cut you purchase.
You can easily find them on Nordstrom.com etc.
To avoid paying retail price you can try Nordstrom Rack or the True Religion outlet! Yes they have an outlet! The outlet has them for $80-$150/pair. There’s an outlet in Las Vegas as well as Cabazon, CA. For other locations you can try google/calling. Hope this helps 😉

I tried to use a “Save A Lot coupon at publix and they would not accept it, I was bummed…and surprised b/c on the front door it said they took all competitors coupons. Oh well…
Do you have a savalot in the general area of the store? That’s really odd. I never have any problems with competitor coupons at Publix. Mine won’t take Target q’s even though it’s about two miles away from the one in the video. Looks like I may have a new publix! Any way I would ask at customer service. A young cashier aost rejected one of my $5 off $20 recently because she didn’t know.

Wow, what a great Publix trip!
You should remind everyone that Publix does vary on their competitor and overage policies depending on the region or even the store. My store does stack coupons, but take a limited number of competitor coupons, will not take $/$$ off unless it is for a specific product (example…they won’t take a Food Lion $3 off deli purchase or $5/$25 type coupon). Just be sure you ask your store before you shop.
I just printed the $10 Unilever rebate for Publix. I would have never known about this if it wasn’t for this video. Thanks Sarah! I couldn’t help but think that the size of that receipt of yours will require extra postage to send in the rebate 😉

I totally enjoyed the video!! I live in Orlando and I have one Publix that will not take 2 coupons on B1G1 free items, I even checked with the manager and she said no,, So I make sure and go to the Publix that will take 2 on a b1g1, so check around,each store does have it’s own policies it seems.
Great videos! And enough to inspire me to really dig and look for all & any coupons BEFORE my next Publix shopping trip! Thanks for the heads up about Publix accepting competitors coupons. I have been missing out on that but not anymore! I love our Publix b/c on the BOGO you do not have to buy two of the products (of course unless you have an awesome coupon or two) and can come out of there with a decent price on anything that is BOGO. And I did not know you could stack coupons there either, wow! Thanks Sarah and Collin!
If only we had stores like that in WV, OMG! Kroger here once told me that they did not allow coupons that gave you a ‘free’ item and handed it back to me….now they went to allowing only 2 IP coupons per visit….I now drive about 15 minutes away to another Kroger in Ohio where they will accept multiple coupons, but still, no in store coupons, no stacking etc. Plus, here they don’t triple at all, only double to .50. This is awesome and how we could benefit from that type of savings! Way to go!!!
I LOVE PUBLIX! and i am lucky i live in the city where the store orginated from (lakeland florida) and the sons of the guy who opened it actually lives right down the road from me!! its awesome!!!! we have a publix literally every 5 miles it seems like!! i l LOVE their polices and also their sevice!!!!

I live in Florida and my first job was at my local Publix!!! I absolutely LOVE it there. One more thing about Publix….is they have “The Publix Promise”. Watch your prices as they ring up because if the price is wrong they will give it to you for FREE…if you got more than 1 item you still get one FREE and the others at the “correct” price! How awesome is that?!? Great job on the savings!!! If Sarah doesn’t have a website about how to coupon at Publix she should get one!!!

Great job!! I really enjoyed watching the video. I have two publixs near me, only one will allow overage. The Publix that does not allow overage is also not to coupon friendly. I try to avoid that one.
