Ok, so everyone from Wisconsin, How do you find the best pick n save deals? I have yet to find a blog that blogs on pick n save deals. I do my best on double coupon day, but I know I probably miss a lot of deals.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The only deals I have found at Pick-n-Save are the double coupons on Wednesdays. Wish there were more ways to even save more at Woodmans tho.

    • Lynn

I live in kenosha too! I hope I remember to listen. Wow a lot of people from the area on here :).

I cant find any pick n sav blogs. I just study the ad carefully. It is expensive there so I just use my 5 coupons……love it when they give us 10!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

WOW!! So many Kenosha people that are big fans of Collin and Hip2Save. Yes, Pick n Save is very expensive and I only go on double coupon days to. I prefer Woodmans but very seldom do they ever have a sale ad out. They are picky about coupons to. They read the printed ones with a fine tooth comb. Hey maybe someone from Kenosha will win the contest where Collin comes to town. Woo hoo!!! that would be awesome.

        • Lynn

What happened to Woodmans and their coupons??? They use to be fine. Now only one internet coupon per item and no internet free coupons. I hate using coupons there but there prices are really good. Make sure you are checking out Target on HWY 50. Because of their remodel some of their frozen food is 30% off. They are marking down a lot of make up also.

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Ya I just figured that out the other day when I went to Woodmans that they would only take one internet coupon for an item even tho I had 5 of the same coupons and 5 items. Bummer!!! the lady also said if coupons didnt have a address on them they would not take it either. I had about $10.00 worth of QP’s to that she would not take. They are still the cheapest grocery store around even tho they are completely on the other side of town. I live close to the lake so its a little bit of time to drive but not bad at all.

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks Lynn for the Target tip to. I was just there today. I like the new store but I wish it was still in the old location. A little closer.

      • Joleen

check out commonsensewithmoney.com I live in Wisconsin and go on to her site to get the Pick N Save deals.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          Cool !Thanks for the info

    • Cara R

excellent ? on Pn’Save.. I too have been trying to find someone who covers them (there was 1 lady who dropped her blog though-bummer) I’ve only found hot coupon world to sometimes have a reader or two who will do it. Otherwise it is sitting w/the 2 ads they put out and doing the matches myself- I typically make 2-3 runs ev. Wed. to maximize my savings. Remember you have to spend $25 b4 they double 5 coupons up to $1. You can get lots of free stuff from them and dirt cheap other things if you strategize correctly. best deals were the cereal/milk deals… they’ve cut those short w/just the $10 off now, no longer the $10+2free gallons of milk- bummer (K-town native too!- now in Caledonia)

      • Jodi

The Sentry on Hwy 20( for those of you that live in Racine) also does double coupons on Fri and Sat, but they do not take internet coupons.

    • Jenny

Don’t quote me on this, but I *think* that Rainbow Foods in MN has the same deals as Pick n Save… same double coupon wednesdays, only 5 coup per $25 order, so try looking for some blogs/sites that feature Rainbow. I LOVE shopping at rainbow, I’ve gotten so much free food there on double coupon days! Good luck!
Is it kosher to mention other sites here? There is a Rainbow forum on afullcup.com. Sorry if I shouldn’t have said that!!

    • Michelle

https://www.pocketyourdollars.com/ does Pick n Save match-ups. She’s from Minnesota so a few things in her ad aren’t in mine but for the most part they match up.

As another person mentioned https://www.commonsensewithmoney.com/ does match-ups as well.

If their lists doesn’t match your ad check the previous week’s match-ups. The stores in the lower part of the state seem to be a week behind. This is actually a good thing though since you have the opportunity to read through all the comments and see what other deals people have found.

one more blog is https://momforhim.blogspot.com/. She only does match-ups for current printables so it’s nice if you don’t have a coupon stash to start with.

      • Michelle

Sorry should have said that the Minnesota one is actually Rainbow foods not pick n save but both are Roundy’s stores and as I said her ad matches my central WI ad for most things.

  24. Beverly

I’ll be listening! I’d be totally nervous. GOOD LUCK!

  25. Tresa Beardslee

Good Luck! You’ll do great. Um…. I can’t think of any questions to ask… Those of us who aren’t local, can we email a question to the station?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Streams live via the web so anyone anywhere i think can listen and call

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

DARN IT. Couldn’t you schedule your interview before/after the biggest loser? I’m just glad it’s not interfering with the bachelor tonight. Just Kidding….I can’t wait to listen!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      LOL!!

    • Gina

Collin is on the air 7-8 EST or 6-7 CST. The biggest loser starts at 7. I had the same panic attack! LOL!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The Olympics is on tonight. No Biggest Loser.

  27. momof2

For those asking about pick n save – you can double up to 5 coupons per transaction but 4 times per roundys/advantage card plus if you really wanted you can have up to 4 cards per household. The 25 is calculated prior to the sale pricing and coupons too.

    • jane

Ok, Last Wednesday, I went to pick n save in Milw (I’m from Kenosha) and I went 6 different times for double coupons and I was able to use the same card for all of the transactions. I just had a ton of $1 coupons to be doubled. Not sure if it was worth it because I didnt get anything else done that day. 🙂

    • Jenny

you can do up to 7 transactions a day with the same card – Last week I did 8, and it rejected my card the last time. The screen said, “CARD USED TOO MANY TIMES TODAY” or something like that!!! LOL *blush*

      • Heather

I’ve done the same thing at PicknSave – going through the check out numerous times each Wednesday. It’s a great way to maximize the double QPs!!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

how do you get your total to $25 each transaction. I have a hard time reaching $25 for just 1 transaction.

  28. momof2

And if you go to the locations offering fuelperks you can save on price of gas too!

  29. shanna

Sentry stores double on friday and saturday the same as pick n save

  30. Anna

https://www.commonsensewithmoney.com does PNS weekly, but you have to make sure its the same ad, there are diff ads for the northern and southern region of Wisco

  31. Stephanie

It’s only a matter of time until you’re picked up by major media and will no longer have time for us! 🙂

  32. Lisa

Sweet! I live in the next town over! Can’t wait to hear you on the radio!

  33. Janet Nolan

All you picknsave shoppers might want to check out mymilwaukeemommy.com She does PickNSave matches.

  34. Gina

This is toooo funny!! I just love hearing from fellow Wisconsinites!!! I had no clue how many people from Wisconsin visited this site! I don’t have THAT much trouble getting good deals. You have to do quite a few transactions, but it is well worth it! Collin don’t you see? You HAVE TO come to Wisconsin in May!! I usually go to http://www.hotcouponworld.com they do have people from wisconsin (including me!) and if you have a question, they are always very very helpful. For example they are doing the Kelloggs deal again.

So here is a little scenario (for THIS week)
Buy 8 boxes of cereal for $20
Buy $5 worth of other stuff (milk, produce, meat, whatever)
use 8 $1/1 and double 5 of those
get the $10 off instantly at checkout (makes each box of cereal $1.25)
    will be around $2-5 dollars

P.S. -If you go to hot coupon world, be sure to shoot me a line, I would love to hear from you!

    • Gina

It does me no good to tell you to contact me if I don’t tell you how!! My screen name on HCW is bunnynugget305 <– long story about the name……. 🙂

    • Lynn

I love pick n sav doubles for cereal! I’ll check out hot coupon world. Thanks!

  35. Sondra

YAY! how wonderful for you Collin. You rock! Go wisconsin (from Wisconsin myself!)

  36. Sheyanne

I grew up in Appleton,WI….my grandparents listen to Wisconsin Public Radio all the time! Good luck with the interview!

  37. Rainey Randall

That is so awesome!!! I will def be listening!!!! Have fun, and congrats!!!

  38. Marci

I think you should go on Dave Ramsey and promote couponing to help people get out of debt!!! You would be great with Dave!

  39. BamaVicki

Wow, that is so exciting! I will defninitely be listening/watching!!!!! I will try and call in but I bet w/all your readers the lines will be jammed! I am so happy for you and like you told me the other day, you are getting to do what you are truly passionate about and you are very good at it. 🙂 I have always said that to do something you like or love you just have to do the one thing or something that really no one else is doing, or maybe put a little different spin on it and you’ll go far and this is definitely what I am talking about! This website has definitely revolutionized my life and my family’s…and it came along at the perfect time. You can use that/quote me on the radio for saying that~ 😉 Best of Luck!

  40. MamaBear

I am just wondering why in the world any Charlotte stations haven’t done this already–hello?– Any carolina peeps agree? We need to hit up the stations in the NC area to get her a weekly spot for savings!! 🙂 first she takes over the radio…… next the tv stations….. then the world! Mwahahahaha!!! (evil laughter)

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)
