Yay! I have an easy way to score 15 more points on Recycle Bank— which could mean another high value coupon for ya! Just login to your Recycle Bank account on MARCH 1ST and enter this promo code: RECYCLEYOURMAGS to score yourself 15 more points! (Thanks, Good Deal Mama!)

Also, don’t forget that you can still score an additional 50 points (if you haven’t already)! Just go here and join the RecycleBank Ebay Green Team. After doing so, 50 points will almost instantly be credited to your account! I used the 50 points to score myself a coupon for a FREE box of Kashi cereal!

**If you’re new around here, you are probably wondering what the heck RecycleBank is. RecycleBank partners with cities and haulers to reward households for recycling; households earn RecycleBank Points that can be used to shop at over 1,500 local and national businesses. Currently, you can earn 40 RecycleBank points just for signing up to join (this offer is good for NEW registrants only). Once you have signed up you can use your points to purchase high value coupons for groceries and/or discounts at online stores. After signing in, click on the “Get Rewards” tab and you’ll be able to start scrolling through the rewards they have available on the left hand side.

Thanks, I just need 10 more points to redeem a CVS coupon. This is just great!

  2. Rachel

I tried signing up and it states invalid email. I double-checked to make sure I didn’t mis-key, the email is correct. I tried a different email address and it states the same thing: invalid email. It’s not invalid! Argh! Any suggestions? Thanx!

    • Rachel

Has this happened to anyone else? What am I doing wrong?

  3. fran

Thanks Collin…I just got my 15 points.

  4. Shelly T.

    Thanks! Just got it.

  5. Julie

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

how can i order 1 box of kashi cereal? i have 105 points.

      • Leigh Brewer

You click on “Get Rewards”, then click on “Grocery & Food”. Then click on “Cereal & Breakfast”. It’s right there. 🙂
If you have 105, I would also suggest getting the coupon for Free Natural Dish Liquid from Seventh Generation. It’s 50 points, too! Have fun, I love using Recyclebank, I’ve used their coupons to get AWESOME deals. 🙂

  6. Pam

Thanks, Collin, got mine, also got my cookie coupon 🙂

    • Pam

Glad to know I’m not the only one up this late!!!

  7. Alisia A.

I just tried signing up and it said there was an error 🙁

    • Rachel

I am getting the same thing. It is stating invalid email, but I’ve tried a few different email addresses and none are working.

      • Candice

I had to use my gmail.com account as it was not taking my yahoo.com account.

        • Kelly

It won’t take either my gmail or yahoo. It keeps saying invalid email

  8. Alyssa

I’ll have to look into this. I’ve never heard of it. Thanks!

  9. Stacey Bee

I just signed up. Thanks, Collin! I already ordered my daughter a year’s subscription to Seventeen Magazine. Very cool! I will be happy when they start weighing the recycle carts in my area! If you live in an area that is already weighing and giving points, you are sooo lucky 🙂

  10. Katie

Tried to sign up and it says cant map my address. So it wont go past that sign up.

    oh well

  11. topchief2

You should really tell people that the coupons are mailed so that they don’t waste their time..

    • Janel @ GoodDealMama

some people like that they are mailed, I wouldn’t be able to use a coupon for a free item at my local stores!

    • Megan

Not all coupons are printable. After you cash in your rewards, they usually come within a week. Don’t mind the wait for free products. Thanks Collin for all you do!

    • dana

I LIKE that they are mailed – much less hassle – no worries about the stores accepting the high value coupons! I have only a po box, and have had no trouble with them sending them; some companies don’t mail to po boxes. Definately worth the short wait for free items!

      • Jaime

I got my last one within a few days. Not a bad wait at all. 🙂

  12. Kathleen Dallas

got the same message re my address, no luck

  13. Tina

Thanks. Got my 15 points. Make my day. Heehee

  14. jen

  16. Laurie

That was easy. THanks so much, Collin!

  17. Mrs. B

Got it!! Thanks so much Collin!

  18. Melissa

I’ve been holding on to my points and I was so excited to see the Huggies coupons again! I tried to get several of the $5 a pack of little snugglers but it is limited to one every 2 months. But I did snag 1 $5, the b1b1 free snugglers, and the b1g1 free huggies wipes! Yay!

  19. Lori

Thanks! Getting the Kashi any cereal free coupon this time. Kashi is yum. 🙂

  20. anne

    thank you

  21. Shell

Thanks so much for the code!

  22. deb

Thanks – loving all the free cereal

  23. Andrea

How often can you earn points or get them from give-aways? This is the first since I signed up awhile ago. I really want some Huggies coupons but think it will take way to long to get that many points and then when I do those coupons won’t even be there.

  24. KIM McMURRY

I recently recycled a phone that was about 2 years old and received 477 points!!!! Thanks for the points!

  25. Deb

So cool! I just signed up and got a total of 100 points right off the bat! Got the free Kashi cereal too-LOVE anything Kashi. Thanks!

  26. Deb

If I might suggest-for folks having trouble getting it to accept some email addresses, try a hotmail account. It’s free and it works!

  27. Lisa Mickolayck

how do you get the curbside recycling to work?.How do you find out if your city is linked up with this site?

    • Jaime

They have all that info on their site. Mine wasn’t part of it 🙁 but many are!

  28. Angie

I recycled 2 old cell phones for almost 1500 points! That’s alot of coupons!

    • Jill

Sweet~ I’m going to have to go dig out our old cell phones out of the kids toy box!

  29. Mary

Also, I have sent in several cell phones to get points. One cell phone was worth 1400 points! If you have old cell phones laying around, send them in! They pay for shipping!

  30. fairydust

Just a side note for anyone who received the Kashi cereal freebie coupon from this and hasn’t used it yet – it looks like Rite Aid has Kashi cereal as a BOGO this week, so that plus this coupon would mean 2 free boxes. Woohoo!

    • Janel @ GoodDealMama

That is what I just used mine for! Whoohoo! 🙂

  31. Linda Wms

Thanks for the info and the NUDGE to sign up. I haven’t decided what to use my points on, but the incentives sound nice.

  32. Tashena Gonzales

I tried to sign up three times with no sucess and emailed three times and finally the third time they emailed me back to say that your email address must be in all lowercase letters to work!

  33. Sharon

    Thanks great deal!

  34. Kristin

Yea! I love Kashi, and with the leftover 40 points from your last post plus the new 15 points, I just scored myself a SECOND FREE box of Kashi. The first one is already eaten!

  35. Heather W

    Thanks Collin!

  36. Apryl Broome

I keep trying to sign up also and am getting an error 500 mesage. I’ve tried signing up on my Mac and my Iphone. Anyone else having this problem?

  37. E

    thx

    I shouldn’t have wasted 10pts on a coupon because with the 15pt I only have 45pt so not enough for a 50pt coupon. Guess I’ll wait 🙂

  38. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

is the kashi coupon now showing up as 125 points for anyone else? i ordered one this morning at 50 but now its showing up as 125!

    • Stacey

I see the same thing. I got my free Kashi coupon in the mail yesterday (ordered maybe 2 weeks ago). Was hoping for another one with this code and now Kashi shows up as 125 points. 🙁 I wonder if they raised the point value for everyone or just if you’ve ordered it in the past!

  39. Mar

It worked today too, Marych 2nd!

  40. Katiria

After using Recyclebank for 3 months, I know its not worth it. I have filled that can to its rim with recycled items and only gotten 30 points to 50 points and to get a gift card worth $10 it costs 1200 points. It will take too long to get something good from them. 50 points will get u a coupon for a $1 off a product.

Also they are very random at giving points and make alot of errors, sometimes it takes 2 weeks to get the points other times the very next day I get the points. One week they gave me 3 points for a full can, because the machine didn’t read the chip accurately. It was worth at least 50 points, but computer error in their favor !
It’s a hassle, just recycle if you want to save the world but don’t look to actually make it worth your while with these people because its not as good as they advertise.
