(Thanks, Carla!)
Curious if anyone owns any of these sets & what you think about them? Would love to hear before I purchase. Thank you!
My best friends little boys love these. I don’t have any yet but my boys love to play with them at her house. Yeah, thanks Collin … one birthday DONE!
My boys also recently played with them at a friends house and loved them. I’m in. Thanks Collin!
How old are the little guys playing w/the sets? My son is about to be 4 …. do you think he would enjoy? Or still too young?
Thank u Collin! Now I just have to wait for a grandson…lol
I checked my e-mail confirmation and they applied my $5 that I won on the H2S drawing also, so my total was $17.00! SWEET!! Thank u Collin!!!
Thanks, Collin! I ordered this for my little boy for Christmas. (The suggested ages were 4-7 for those wondering.) I would use it as his birthday present but I already have the Star Wars helmet & figurines saved for that! I LOVE saving money! Thanks for everything you do!
* I had an unused $5 gift card (from Swagbucks) so my total was only $17! *
The King’s Gatehouse sold out while I had it in my cart. 🙁
It did mine too:(
Check out the other stuff that’s part of the $5 off deal. Here’s a link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=amb_link_166069822_3?ie=UTF8&docId=1000484801&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=hero-quick-promo&pf_rd_r=15JWZB2FKFM3WNGK87H1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=1199131142&pf_rd_i=B001W0F4VW
For those asking about ages, I have a 5 year old that recieved the King’s Trio Castle for Christmas. He enjoys playing with it, but he still needs his daddy’s help. I think 6 and up would be a good age to be able to build it alone. It is a nice toy though, seems pretty well made and easy to take apart and put back togather. HTH!
I added both to my cart and it says “We’re sorry, but the promotional code you entered cannot be applied to this purchase. Please refer to your promotional coupon for information about item or store restrictions.”
Anyone get that to work?
We have the basic sets for our little guy and he just turned 3 on Valentine’s day. He got the fire station set for his birthday. He really loves to just build with them. He can easily snap them together but when it comes to following the instructions and building the fire house or car, he needs our help. But he can build other things completely on his own with these. I was sad to see the price had gone up on the Gate House. Should have check H2S before I showered I guess. =)
When I go to it, it says that it is $16.99 not $7.49, does it just change to $7.49 when you add it to your cart or something?
yeah, did the same thing for me…
wondering if it’s gone back up….
IT SHOWED UP 16.99 IN MY CART HMMMMM
BUY THESE!! They are SO GREAT. I have three boys and the two older ones (4 and 5 yrs) LOVE LOVE them. It is truly amazing what they can create with them. I would highly recommend purchasing the “Fisher-Price TRIO Building Set” over any of these. $18.39 is a bargain too (Amazon). They are $29.99 at Target. NOW, the smaller sets (I believe the airplane kit) is only $4.99 at Target (cheaper than Amazon) and the crazy creatures are only $9.99 at Target (cheaper than Amazon)…but if you need to add more to your cart, I would go with one of these (most don’t have to pay tax at Amazon!). My boys have LOVED the crazy creatures set to add “eyes” to everything they build. You can also download the “plans” on the Fisher-Price website which are SO easy for little ones to follow. They are colorful, large and perfect for them to learn how to follow instructions. Overall, these are perfect in every way and I am SO glad we own them!!
One other comment, I can’t tell if one comes without the storage box or not (on Amazon). The picture shows both with the storage box but the titles imply that one has it and one does not. (Actually, it looks like one has 84 pieces and one has 100 pieces). I would say to just buy the cheaper one. We don’t want our storage box anyway b/c once you “add” to your collection, the others won’t fit in that box anyway. We have moved ours into a larger bin and I’m much happier with them that way! 🙂
You could combine this deal with qualifying items from the 4-for-3 promotion. I got a FREE book today via that offer. Details here:
