I found the reviews on the 12″ pan to be helpful. Read both the best review and the most critical. I have a number of Caphalon pans, and do agree that their are different grades and the good care is imperative. They are not to be put in the dishwasher.
I have an everyday pan and I love it! I use it almost every day. It goes from stove top to oven and is so versatile. I use it for everytihing. I’ve had it for about 5 years and it still looks like new even with all the use. I highly recommend! and what a great deal.

I have a set of Caphlon hard anodized pots and pans and they are the higher quality ones….they are fantastic!!! I am a personal chef, and I use them for my business as well!
I love the brand! I have the non-stick and they are the absolute best! Don’t put in the dishwasher & don’t use metal utensils in them and they will last for a very long time!!

I use the Calphalon adonized cookware and LOVE it, but I can’t let this misleading post go unnoted. These are the prices that Amazon ALWAYS sells the cookware at. I know this because I personally own 4 of the pieces mentioned, and the prices show are exactly what I paid for them 6 months ago! Amazon is AWESOME!

The one I bought from amazon ( 19.99 several years ago, the one in the picture) was TERRIBLE, I did everything to take care of it and it is the worst sticking pan I have. I bought a two piece set at BB& B for 49.99, also calphalon, and it is the BEST I have ever had.
I used to work at a very expensive cooking store and we sold these pans. I loved them so much I bought 2 sets and many open stock pieces. These are awesome pans and those prices are STEALS! Sadly, if I bring home another pan I may end up in divorce court!
If they do stick when you use them try heating them just a little more before adding oil or food to them (wave your hand about 3 inches from the surface, you should feel a little heat coming up). Never use any pan above medium high heat (unless you are boiling water) and never, never,never pour water in them when they are hot to aid in cleaning (this will warp the pan). The best way to clean them is with warm, soapy water and one of the pan scrapers that Pampered Chef sells (either anonized or non-stick). If you have a huge mess try Bar Keepers Friend (available at most grocery stores and that high priced cooking store). Do not use scouring pads or cleanser on any pan and never put them in the dishwashers!
darn, my hubby said “no” to stocking up on cookware, LOL! I’d love to get that set. I have some caphalon that I’ve bought open stock and love and one pan that is terrible, things stick – I cant remember which one it is – I’ll try your suggestions Claire.
I also scored a Calphalon pot a my thrift store two weeks ago for $3.99 and it looked like it had never been used! I was so happy!
