Visit a National Park for FREE!
Would you like to experience America’s Great Outdoors for FREE?! From April 17th-25th, the National Park Service is waiving the entrance fees to ALL 392 national parks (click here for more details)! In addition, many national park concessioners are offering special promotions that make this deal even sweeter!
If you head over to your closest National Park on Saturday, April 24th, be sure to take advantage of National Junior Ranger Day. Interested students complete a series of activities during their park visit, share their answers with a park ranger, and receive an official Junior Ranger badge or patch and Junior Ranger certificate. How cool! Click here for more information about this program and to find a participating park.
(Thanks, $30WeeklyGroceryChallenge!)
We just got back from visiting the Grand Canyon in Arizona over our Spring Break. How perfect this would have been.
Thanks for the info! The links in the 2nd paragraph don’t appear to be working.
The park that’s about 20 minutes from me (Big Cypress in S. FL) is free anyway. 🙂 But this is an awesome promotion.
